A very funny monument to the Knight of the sad image of Alonso Kehan (who, after reading chivalric novels, came up with the name "Don Quixote of La Mancha"). The knight rides Rocinante with a spear in his hand, and Sanche-Panza's donkey named "Gray" lags behind. Moreover, Sancho Panza himself is not observed. An interesting concept. The monument is made of metal strips and, due to its location (the road is slightly lower), it looks as if the characters of the novel "The Clever Hidalgo Don Quixote of La Mancha" by the great Spanish (during his lifetime, however, the kingdom of Castile and Leon) writer Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra are moving along the horizon. It's very beautiful, by the way. Many tourists come to see this sculpture at sunset, they speak just like animation. Some (much fewer) arrive at dawn. I didn't go, I lived a little far away. There is also a local restaurant nearby, El Meson de Don Quijote.
There is a nice restaurant nearby with music, wine and lobsters. I recommend. It's delicious, you can sit down mentally. Good service, everything was brought quickly. They are very friendly.
It's a great place! Wondering why no one is following him. It is elementary to restore the stairs and charge a dollar for admission! The highest place in Varadero. The view is cool! Be careful, the stairs are in disrepair!!!
I highly recommend their lobster dish. Delicious, the serving is good, there is a side dish on the plate! We had a good time and it was delicious. I took off the star only because the menu is extensive, but only one dish is served in fact)
A sculptural composition next to the hotel in Cuba. It's cool. There's a restaurant nearby - I haven't been, they say they cook lobster, I haven't tried it.
