An interesting tourist place. I would not stay here as in a hotel, because there are a lot of tourists and a relaxing holiday will not happen. Although the rooms are interesting in design and content with different themes. But it is definitely worth visiting while in Dalat. Walk up all the narrow stairs, climb the observation deck, look into all the rooms, walk through the garden, go to the room where the creator of this place used to live. See photos of how it all started, was designed and brought to life. The author of this place has an amazing imagination, you feel a certain connection with her, because she speaks excellent Russian, studied Architecture in Moscow. Respect and gratitude for this unusual place!
Crazy, but striking in its angular shapes. It will do for a general idea. The hotel itself consists of several houses in the form of fabulous caves, houses in the shape of a tree, huts and mysterious labyrinths. It was really fun to walk up the steep stairs, you can climb high enough. The stage and the sea hall with the shark "Sea World" photo credit. There is a gift shop. A corner with historical materials from the construction of the house and a biography of the architect of the hotel. The staff is attentive, the room is clean, the linen is clean.
A very atmospheric place! It seemed strange at first... Then - interesting. Dalat is generally a beautiful city, unlike other Vietnamese cities. The road from Nha Trang to Dalat is just an amazing trip to the mountains/ serpentines/ rivers/fogs.... Romantics and connoisseurs of beauty will definitely like it. I will definitely come back!
A really unusual place. At first I thought it was an ordinary tourist magnet, but in fact it turned out to be a hotel complex with a very interesting and unusual architecture. You can freely walk around the hotel by purchasing a ticket.
The hotel has Wi-Fi.
When I was in Dalat, I heard a lot of laudatory reviews and promises to visit the local so-called Madhouse. I visited, but I didn't understand.. Maybe I'm kind of retarded in design, but it's unclear that I didn't make a positive impression. There is an architectural delicacy, a museum and a hotel built of concrete and rebar by the Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga. Buildings of irregular shape in the form of concrete logs, vines and cobwebs, curved lines, in short, clearly not Feng Shui.. There is a spider garden (also made of concrete) all around. Dang Viet Nga said in her interviews that she was inspired to build in this style by Russian folk tales, as she had lived in Russia for a long time. Indeed, Dang Viet Nga graduated from the Moscow Architectural Institute in 1965, and subsequently received a degree in architecture. He drives around Dalat in a VAZ car, which we examined in the garage next to the Ford car (behind a grid in the form of a spider web). Of course, all this is pleasant and patriotic, but I didn't like it very much, although I don't impose my point of view, you need to look at it yourself. There are a lot of tourists wandering around, so there is something in this (beyond the threshold of my perception)..
An interesting place, creative, liked it, I definitely recommend them to sell coffee in front, be sure to buy a Long Chew! The taste and aroma are great!
This is an extremely unusual place! A special low bow to the architect and the mastermind ! It will be interesting for both children and adults, as these bizarre shapes and the triumph of architectural thought are amazing!
An interesting place. The architect studied at Moscow State University and was inspired by Gaudi's ideas. It turned out to be a fabulous maze house. And this is a functioning hotel, you can rent a room! It is recommended to visit, both children and adults will like it. From the point of view of art, it's a little naive, but very colorful.
The impression is twofold: a mix of styles, a lot of tourists, it makes it difficult to explore everything properly. At first glance, it looks like the Park Guell in Barcelona, but if everything is in the same style, then Hang Ng's Madhouse is really strange, it feels like you're in a mental hospital. I wouldn't go to Gaudi's Park in Spain a second time!
This is something indescribable! It needs to be seen! Set aside at least two hours for this "HOUSE" so that you can see and feel everything! Surprisingly, you can just live in it...... Delight.........
A complete lack of taste for those who might like this hotel. Even in terms of guided tours. Stairs lead nowhere, the view from even the highest observation deck is nothing, old fast-moving pictures, as if I visited a kindergarten that hadn't been renovated since the 90s. I don't recommend it.
A very cool place to visit. You can stay overnight, very unusual, but not very convenient. Check-in after 17, check-out at 5 am. But it's fun to go out during the day. It is very similar to Gaudi in Spain
My family really liked this house. The child enthusiastically explored all the corners of this house. The only thing was that there were so many people that it was possible to fall down the stairs. Our tour coincided with the Chinese tour. This is still the extreme. Well, the impressions we brought home were worth it.
An interesting tourist site, but in general "for an amateur" - and it is desirable to have plenty of time to wander around this fabulously enchanting "madhouse" quietly, go around all the "locations"!..
A very interesting interpretation of the hotel. I highly recommend visiting this place. You will get a lot of extraordinary sensations, as if you are not in this world, where everything has boundaries, symmetry. You are in a crazy, unreal, wrong world. Don't read the reviews, visit this place and just feel the architect's thought.
4 years ago we were in Vietnam and also vacationed at the resort in Mui Ne. We took an excursion to Dalat, two days before the flight to Moscow. Upon arrival in Dalat, we visited the Crazy House (madhouse). There is really something to see. Everything is unusual, extraordinary, rather unexpected. The fantasy of the hostess Natasha works great, of course. Words cannot describe everything. You have to see with your own eyes. We have also seen hotel rooms, in an original way. And yes, living in them is really not expensive. Everything is confusing and confused, it seems to me that you can even get lost in the intricacies of corridors and stairways.
We also saw a copy of the Eiffel Tower in Paris in Dalat. Well, then we took the bus to Nha Trang, through that very pass, there was still fog. It felt even worse...When you look down and you can't see the bottom of the gorge.☠️💀😲
A bomb, a cannon, a rocket. The staff is very friendly and helpful in everything. We organized a bike for rent for 150 thousand per day. We booked slip basses before mui ne and didn't beg for tips. Onlookers don't arrive until 10 a.m. And they leave no later than 20:00.
An unusual place with original architectural and design solutions. It is worth visiting and walking here for a couple of hours. This complex will not leave anyone indifferent, adding flavor to your trip.
A cool place, also a functioning hotel. I really don't know how you can live here when crowds of tourists are walking around and everyone is trying to see everything. And so, I don't even know what was in the architect's head when I planned and built this hotel. Trained as an architect in Moscow.
In general, it is mandatory to visit.
The number of tourists is a lot and even too much, so be careful at the crossings.
An interesting place. The most interesting thing is the history of the creation of this place. The architecture is unusual even for Hollywood films. Entrance is paid, not expensive. Souvenirs can be bought inside and outside
Crazy house, well, quite an interesting architectural structure, unusual. Stay in one of the rooms to spend the night, well, I don't know))))
It was fun climbing the ladders.
If there is an opportunity, be sure to visit. I have not personally met anything like this yet.
I really wanted to see this house. I looked at beautiful photos, drew attention to the phrase on the Internet, "Madame Dang Thang Nga relied on Gaudi's work, but went even further ...".
I do not want to offend this wonderful woman, but it is impossible to compare Kresi House with the creations of Antonio Gaudi.
It's interesting, original, unusual here. But I was a little disappointed by the garishness and abundance of rough forms made of concrete.
The idea may be good, but for a visitor it's just to climb the stairs, of which there are many and see the colorful elements of the house. And that's it!
An interesting place, of course, I would like to visit the rooms, but they were closed.
A lot of bridges, passages, labyrinths. The atmosphere is like visiting a crazy architect.
I was in this hotel, probably the location of the filming of the Heads and Tails program is more interesting for our compatriots .Very expensive rooms , you can find much better ones for this money .As an excursion , you can consider , but no more
I was in Dalat and of course visited an Abnormal House: a hotel is a joke for tourists. I walked around it all and was convinced of the functionality of this "room" - it is possible to live in it and even with comfort (relative). Our group was lucky - the tickets were sold by the architect hostess herself (pictured). We bowed to her sweetly) There is a lot of information about Crazy House on the Internet.
We were there in February 2019.The beauty is awesome, this is such a gorgeous project, and it is developing further, being completed. The hotel is operational, there are very unusual rooms. We are delighted with this hotel, you will not regret it if you are in Vietnam, be sure to take a tour there.
