I have visited this restaurant/cafe 5 times in the last month. Today was definitely the last one. The first two visits were ordered by shish kebab (lumpy beef) and Uighur lagman. It was very tasty: the meat in the kebab was the most tender, it just melted in your mouth. Lagman was also cooked for 5 plus. Unfortunately, the idyll did not last long, the third time the kebab was not so tasty, the meat was barely chewed. At 4, lagman again and he turned out to be worthy again. Today (11/15/24) I could not finish the ordered kebab: the meat was still barely chewed, but at the same time it was also "not swallowed". It's a very unpleasant feeling. From personal experience, it turns out that this is roulette, maybe you'll get lucky and bring a delicious barbecue, and if you're not lucky, then what can you do, we're not like that, life is like that. In general, I do NOT recommend visiting.

A democratic cafe "Bukhoro" next to the hotel, recommended by the manager, without frills and high expectations, with traditional and distinct Uzbek cuisine. On the first evening of your stay in Tashkent – an expensive city by the standards of Uzbekistan – the price tag on the menu with many thousands is initially alarming, and when you transfer prices with zeros from soums to rubles while waiting for an order on the veranda, you calm down: it turns out extremely pleasant. I was a little puzzled that only a fork and a spoon were given from the devices, but somehow I adapted.
Bojor salad of vegetables with a predominance of cabbage is ok, fresh, juicy, crispy. Meat soames olot is hot and delicious. A shish kebab made of lumpy mutton could have been both softer and more substantial (on a skewer of 4 pieces, one turned out to be just a bone), but it is acceptable and quite edible. Green tea, which I drank a whole teapot while waiting for the main dishes and after dinner, touched at a cost of 1,500 soums – it's only 8 rubles (I involuntarily compared it with tea in restaurants in Moscow and the Moscow Region for 500 rubles). And the final check was really touching: in rubles, including 20% tips, it turned out to be only 300₽ 😊
We specially went to eat shish kebab : the price on the menu for a lump (2 sticks of shish kebab in the picture) is 23,000 soums, for ground - 20,000 soums. They bring 4 sticks , and the bill ends up being almost 100,000 . That is, there are 2 sticks in the picture, and the price is for one, it is confusing, although I asked the waiter about the price per serving from the picture.

And complete disappointment in the barbecue: lumpy consisted of incomprehensible pieces with bones that were not chewed (fed the seals), and ground dry and tasteless, it is difficult from a skewer.

There are many other places nearby where the food is delicious and cheaper.
