The place is amazing!!! The views are gorgeous. And here is a boarding house on the 3rd floor. Reception from 8 am to 20(((( guests are waiting outside. The sleeping places are terrible, the mattresses are sagging. You need to take care of everything yourself.
If you put the service in order, it will be a heavenly place!

We had a rest in July, the hotel itself is not bad, the staff is friendly, the linen is changed every 3 days, the room is cleaned according to the same scheme. But food is something, it is absolutely impossible to eat, especially lunch, at least you can eat pancakes for breakfast, they are edible. The sea is dirty this year, as the weather was periodically rainy.

The hotel is very far from civilization. To the minibuses that go towards Pitsunda, you need to walk 2 km along a dangerous road on which stones are falling from above.
There is no entertainment on the territory, as there are not even benches where to sit, and the territory is very small and stones are falling from above from a steep cliff.
Dining room with trays as in the USSR. Breakfast consists of the same dishes - the cheapest semi-finished products of an unsightly appearance. Ugh...
the reception staff is not friendly, and after receiving money from you, they can pass by and not greet you.
Upon arrival, they do not even put a bottle of drinking water in the room, and in the future you need to go for it to the only store that is located outside the territory. The kettle in the room was covered in scale, and the floor was dirty. During our stay, electricity and water were cut off very often.
And if the sea is calm in Pitsunda , then in the Arbiki gorge , there were waves all the time .
For the money they are asking for, I definitely do not advise you to go!
The transfer to and from the hotel costs 4,000 rubles.

We had a rest at the end of July 18. I really liked it. It is located near a cliff, after which the beach is wild. The sea is probably clean in all of Abkhazia, the beach is pebbles with sand, you can walk barefoot, Wi-Fi on the beach) and the boarding house is excellent. Air conditioning in each room. The rooms are clean. They're cleaning up. All the employees of the boarding house are Russian. Meals are served 3 times a day. Delicious. There was no entertainment or TV at the time of the visit. The center of Pitsunda is 10-15 minutes away by car. An excellent boarding house for recreation, especially with children.

We had a rest at the Arbik boarding house in July 2019! I liked everything! Silence, the purest sea, the smell of pine trees, very few people on the beach, sand, beauty in one word! The staff is very friendly, helps to solve any issues! Special thanks to the chef (everything is very tasty, homemade), we have never been poisoned during our vacation (which often happened in other places)! The children are happy!!!! Let's go back again!!! I advise everyone, this is a relaxing holiday for a family with children, where we parents can relax and not worry that something will happen to the child!!!! The food is varied, you can choose a lot of delicious things. But the dining room is very stuffy, there are not enough tables for everyone. The beach is wonderful, there are few people. There is sand on the shore, cranes in front of the beach, you can wash your feet from the sand. There are no TVs and refrigerators in the rooms, but Wi-Fi, soft beds, large towels. Friends from the neighboring building complained about the frequent disconnection of light and water. Our room is more expensive, we had no such problems, the lights were turned off for 5 minutes a week at a time.
The hostess is not very friendly, I would even say rude, as if she makes it clear "I don't like it and fuck you", but the rest of the staff is smiling, friendly.
There is a pool, but shallow, knee-deep water, with green water. There are shops, taxis, minibuses and excursions. The prices are not expensive, the churchkhella on the market is only 35p!

I liked everything, but I can't give a completely excellent rating. Great location, private beach. Cons: sometimes the lights were turned off, there were (almost) no fruits and juices in the buffet. I put 4+ and this rating is only due to the sea. If you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the crush of large resort towns, then go to Arbika. Would I recommend it to my friends? A solid YES! Would you come next year? Yes, too!
