I definitely recommend Ararat in contrast to a similar plant.

We were on a tasting tour. We got there by accident - we came in from the street without armor and, after waiting 30 minutes, we were able to join the group.
The tour is informative, but not boring.
We had a tasting of cognacs aged 10, 15 and 20 years.
It cannot be said that after that I fell in love with this drink more, but respect for the work of those who produce it has increased a lot.

There is no special need to buy products in the store there, because it did not seem cheaper, but rather even more expensive than in stores.

At the tasting, nothing foretold that they would be quickly kicked out at the end, without giving them time to finish and enjoy a portion.

An interesting tour, well structured. The exposition is at a modern level. I understood that the recording is needed to separate visitors into different groups (because there are more expensive and cheaper tickets in different languages).
The disadvantage is accessibility: How to get there on foot is a mystery, but this is generally a problem of Yerevan's attitude towards pedestrians.
If you bought something in a branded store, put it in your bag, do not use a branded package: otherwise, the increased attention of beggars is guaranteed.

Very interesting! The history of creation, production, acquaintances and great people who were not only indifferent to the Ararat brandy factory, but also loved these cognacs very much! A good modern museum. They will tell you in detail about the history of Armenian cognac, you can see rare bottles. An interesting room with barrels that were put on hold when visiting famous people. The tasting is also done professionally, good luck to the museum and Ararat cognac!

I want to make a reservation right away that I am not an expert or even a lover of cognac. The review refers to the visually interactive part.
We went on an excursion as there were several free hours left before departure. The ticket was booked the day before via the website. The expectations were very skeptical. As usual, they will take you through the basements, then they will drive everyone into the tasting room, quickly pour and say goodbye (many non-private factories sin this).
Have arrived. The guide met us and we went.
First of all, I want to mention the work of the staff, people love what they do and are happy to share information with visitors.
Next, the design of the plant, a very relevant format has been chosen for tourists - traditions + interactive. I want to look at the room, it's interesting.
Well, in the final tasting, the cozy hall is tastefully decorated. Basic information for mass tourism that doesn't look hackneyed. 2 types of cognac, several grains of chocolate. The purest glasses.
I have the most pleasant impressions!

I advise everyone. A tour of the legendary factory, but of course a small part that can be shown. At the end of the tasting of the products, three glasses of different cognac, choose the age of the cognac products for tasting at the time of payment for the tour. There is also a store of original goods from the ARARAT factory, you can buy real Armenian cognac.

Everything is very modern with video accompaniment, lighting and the names of famous people on the barrels) There was a choice between the Ararat and Noah factories, the locals advised Ararat. If you are in Yerevan, you must visit!

We booked the tour ourselves through the factory's website. After reading reviews about the crowds of tourists on the cheapest excursion, we decided to take a package with a tasting of the company's new products, cognac drinks with coffee and apricot. Indeed, there were only 10 of us on the tour.
The girl guide gave an excellent account of the history of the factory and the cognac production process. Recently, the Ararat company became part of the French company Pernod Ricard, the company's symbolism and all packaging were changed.
The museum is impressive, everything is done at a very high level, informative and unobtrusive. At the end there was a tasting of cognac with halva. You could also buy your favorite products at slightly cheaper prices than in supermarkets.

Since there were not many people willing to taste cognac at 10 a.m., we found ourselves alone with the guide, so we can consider the tour individual. The guide told a lot and it was interesting, they constantly asked questions, which she tried to answer. At the end, there is a tasting of 3 varieties of decent cognac. I recommend. We took a ticket for 7500 AMD for one, 15,000 for two. We paid with a MIR card

An excursion to the Ararat Brandy Factory Museum is definitely worth a visit. What they tell and show is worthy and interesting, but everything pales in front of the smell — mixtures of various cognac vapors.
