An excellent informative tour, a sincere guide, a small group and a slow tasting.
I definitely recommend Ararat in contrast to a similar plant.
(I went to both factories, and the French know how to do interesting and modern)
We were on a tasting tour. We got there by accident - we came in from the street without armor and, after waiting 30 minutes, we were able to join the group.
The tour is informative, but not boring.
We had a tasting of cognacs aged 10, 15 and 20 years.
It cannot be said that after that I fell in love with this drink more, but respect for the work of those who produce it has increased a lot.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to visit the Ararat Museum, but it was already great to go up to the building and take a picture against its background. After all, the Ararat brand is world famous ☝️
Everyone needs to visit. Special thanks to the guide Anna! It was a lot of fun and interesting! For you! Kenats!

The strangest possible excursion... Thanks to the lovely girl Anna for an interesting story about the factory... But I would like to see the production of brandy or cognac itself (to whom as). I've been to many factories, and they took me to production everywhere. And here everything is somehow very strange and suggests certain thoughts 🤷♀️
The tour is 10 out of 10. we recommend taking an extended package. the tasting was a delight, even non-drinkers drank because it was very interesting to listen to the description of cognacs and I wanted to try everything
An atmospheric place. The tasting tour is wonderful. The aromas in the basements are simply intoxicating. I recommend you to visit.

We were on a tasting tour. Great, I really liked it! We got a personal tour. Jem's tour guide is very pleasant, one of the best guides we have ever met. A very touching and sensual immersion into the history of the legendary factory. Thanks! The organization of the tour is also beyond praise.

We went on excursions and ice skate tastings. An interesting and informative Tour. The cognac is wonderful. 7, 15 and 20 years old. It can't be anything but delicious.
A beautiful slope. As at the entrance to a stylish square.
A guided tour costs 12 thousand drams. Or you can buy a couple of bottles at the store. Apricot drink is good from the original and honey is pleasantly drunk
An excellent factory, I liked the tour, although it was short. The tasting is also on top, we took 10.15 and 20 year old cognac. A 20 year old cannon. The cognac was accompanied by chocolate and water. I recommend you to visit an interesting place
I recommend you to visit, an interesting story and immersion in the technology of creating a product. Please note that children under 18 are not allowed. You need to book in advance to get into the group with the required language. Already at the entrance you feel pleasant aromas, vapors from barrels). There is no special need to buy products in the store there, because it did not seem cheaper, but rather even more expensive than in stores.
I visited this museum in the middle of November 23, I liked everything very much. Both the tour and the tasting - all together lasted about an hour and a half. Jem's guide told everything very interestingly, answered all the questions. Thank her very much, I recommend you to visit!
I have long wanted to get to the Ararat Factory Museum. It turned out well. They tell a very interesting story. Everything is very atmospheric. The fragrance is enchanting. Anyone who loves history will be interested. And we also managed to try Dvin and Armenia. I highly recommend you to visit.
An interesting tour of the small museum.
At the tasting, nothing foretold that they would be quickly kicked out at the end, without giving them time to finish and enjoy a portion.
Plus a very modest snack. I would like to have a little more variety for the same amount of cognac, even if it is more expensive.
An interesting tour, well structured. The exposition is at a modern level. I understood that the recording is needed to separate visitors into different groups (because there are more expensive and cheaper tickets in different languages).
The disadvantage is accessibility: How to get there on foot is a mystery, but this is generally a problem of Yerevan's attitude towards pedestrians.
If you bought something in a branded store, put it in your bag, do not use a branded package: otherwise, the increased attention of beggars is guaranteed.
A great tour of the famous cognac factory. Everything is very inspiring and interesting. I highly recommend a visit. The guides have a great tour, they get really excited when they talk about their famous Ararat.
It's beautiful and interesting, but a little weak. The storage for favorites is shown only in the photo, the tasting is short. But the staff are great, it's clear that they love their job. Shop at reasonable prices
A great place, left a great impression, a guide and tasting, at a high level. The presentation of information and material simply left no choice, you certainly want to take something with you in the store!
The museum is "everything behind glass", you can't take pictures of anything.
But a very good guide, and tasting (as I went to a lecture - "how to drink cognac correctly") 👍
We were there, we bought cognac, we talked at the checkout, it was good that I noticed, we returned the money. And so the prices are like everywhere else
It's not interesting. The tour is short, the production process is not shown. You can go to those who are interested: 1. stories about awards, 2. the type of oak barrels and bottles, 3. there is absolutely nothing to do. The most interesting thing is the tasting, again, for this money you can taste.
Yes, this place is worth a visit. It feels like a place with a lot of history. Excellent guide, pleasant tasting. Everything is clean, pleasant and smells of cognac)). I recommend it!
Very interesting! The history of creation, production, acquaintances and great people who were not only indifferent to the Ararat brandy factory, but also loved these cognacs very much! It is a very picturesque place, and you can see almost the whole of Yerevan from above! I highly recommend visiting!
A good modern museum. They will tell you in detail about the history of Armenian cognac, you can see rare bottles. An interesting room with barrels that were put on hold when visiting famous people. The tasting is also done professionally, good luck to the museum and Ararat cognac!
I want to make a reservation right away that I am not an expert or even a lover of cognac. The review refers to the visually interactive part.
We went on an excursion as there were several free hours left before departure. The ticket was booked the day before via the website. The expectations were very skeptical. As usual, they will take you through the basements, then they will drive everyone into the tasting room, quickly pour and say goodbye (many non-private factories sin this).
Have arrived. The guide met us and we went.
First of all, I want to mention the work of the staff, people love what they do and are happy to share information with visitors.
Next, the design of the plant, a very relevant format has been chosen for tourists - traditions + interactive. I want to look at the room, it's interesting.
Well, in the final tasting, the cozy hall is tastefully decorated. Basic information for mass tourism that doesn't look hackneyed. 2 types of cognac, several grains of chocolate. The purest glasses.
I have the most pleasant impressions!
I advise everyone. A tour of the legendary factory, but of course a small part that can be shown. At the end of the tasting of the products, three glasses of different cognac, choose the age of the cognac products for tasting at the time of payment for the tour. There is also a store of original goods from the ARARAT factory, you can buy real Armenian cognac.
I was on an excursion with a tasting of 3 cognacs. A great tour, it was interesting to hear how cognac and barrels are made for it. Everything is very modern with video accompaniment, lighting and the names of famous people on the barrels) There was a choice between the Ararat and Noah factories, the locals advised Ararat. If you are in Yerevan, you must visit!
We booked the tour ourselves through the factory's website. After reading reviews about the crowds of tourists on the cheapest excursion, we decided to take a package with a tasting of the company's new products, cognac drinks with coffee and apricot. Indeed, there were only 10 of us on the tour.
The girl guide gave an excellent account of the history of the factory and the cognac production process. Recently, the Ararat company became part of the French company Pernod Ricard, the company's symbolism and all packaging were changed.
The museum is impressive, everything is done at a very high level, informative and unobtrusive. At the end there was a tasting of cognac with halva. You could also buy your favorite products at slightly cheaper prices than in supermarkets.
An interesting tour, we chose and signed up on the website. Since there were not many people willing to taste cognac at 10 a.m., we found ourselves alone with the guide, so we can consider the tour individual. The guide told a lot and it was interesting, they constantly asked questions, which she tried to answer. At the end, there is a tasting of 3 varieties of decent cognac. I recommend. We took a ticket for 7500 AMD for one, 15,000 for two. We paid with a MIR card
How can you be in Yerevan and not visit the Ararat Museum, you definitely need to climb the stairs. Enjoy the view from the height of the city. Go to the museum store and buy cognac to your taste. And the choice is not small there
An excursion to the Ararat Brandy Factory Museum is definitely worth a visit. What they tell and show is worthy and interesting, but everything pales in front of the smell — mixtures of various cognac vapors. They say that in summer, in such an atmosphere, you can really get drunk in a couple of hours. :)
A very cool tour, everything was explained in detail what is being done and how. Various historical facts and so on, in short, it is interesting. Also after that there was a tasting of the products.
The museum is impressive. The excursions are very interesting - they tell the whole process from the grape harvest to the bottling of cognac. I liked everything.
