Bad experience. We arrived there, we are tourists so OBVIOUSLY we don't know how it works, we ask for tickets and the "smart guy" with few hair and glasses at the reception asked us if we have reservation, we say we don't have and we didn't know we needed it and he says "well no reservation no enter" and "now you know!" with a very aggressive and "smart" tone, as if we as tourists should know everything about your museum as if it's some holy place. It would have been fine if he said that with a normal tone and not trying to be the smart guy. Then the guy realised he wasn't being funny and he said something "I'm just joking, here is how you can book it" but at that point we didn't care anymore. Learn how to treat tourists otherwise your country will never attract more
An excellent museum, I recommend it for visiting, both adults and teenagers. A very interesting history of cognac. The tour is conducted in different languages. It's an amazing place. After the tour, you can visit the drinks store and buy as a gift and a memory of this wonderful place. 👍👍
I recommend visiting the Ararat Brandy Factory Museum. The tour is very interesting, our guide conducted it in one breath, it is immediately clear that she is in love with her business. The price is 4500 AMD, which is about 1200 rubles. At the end of the tour, there is a tasting of three and seven-year-old cognac.
Apart from the museum, nothing else is shown, I would like to visit at least the bottling and packaging line.
The tour is not very big.
The guide is pleasant, sociable, devoted to many subtleties of cognac production and drinking. The exposition is decent. The staff is polite.
The prices of cognacs in the factory store are lower than in other places in Yerevan.
An interesting place! The tasting tour charmed me)) The guide is very pleasant, competent and cheerful). Everything is arranged stylishly, well done! I recommend it! The tasting is an educational event, thank you.
I recommend. Here you will understand the philosophy of Armenian cognac. And the local aroma, exposition and tasting will make you an expert among your friends and relatives. There is a store. If you want to make a lot of purchases for your loved ones, then make them at the airport before departure, then you will not have to buy luggage, because the ruble exchange rate is higher here and you can pay in bills.
Super!
The interiors are beautiful!
The tasting was carried out very warmly, we felt the charm of local hospitality.
Thanks to the guide, everything is clear and professional, with a soul! Just well done!
We went on excursions and tastings, we liked everything, I did not even imagine that the Ararat plant stands on a hill and looks beautiful from all sides, it is so well maintained and landscaped. I recommend to all lovers and connoisseurs of Armenian cognac to visit this factory and try real cognac!
A very interesting tour. I liked everything, especially the tasting. I recommend it, you won't regret it. I really liked the guide, he tells everything in an interesting and vivid way. Good prices in the store.
It is very pleasant and interesting for me to visit the museum and the store, where I admire the variety of cognacs, make purchases for both family and friends. Thank you for this opportunity and beauty.
An excellent one-hour tour takes place at the Ararat factory, with a cognac tasting at the end of the event. It is very informative and interesting, the cost is 4500 drams per person with the tasting of 5 and 7 years old, and 10,000 drams with tasting of more aged cognacs.
The impression is the most pleasant. From the very threshold, you can smell the noble drink and a good mood accompanies an interesting story about the history and development of production. And, of course, the tasting is a very informative and enjoyable part of the tour.)) I really liked it!👍
I was, I got it right, everything was great and I digested it perfectly, everything was very pleasant and wonderful, the overall score was five points. Thank you for the meeting and the organization of the tour
An interesting tour of the museum, they tell a lot of information about the production and the history of the plant. At the end, there is a tasting of three types of cognac. There is a shop at the factory where you can immediately buy what you like.
A wonderful place, very interesting excursions and positive guides. Upon entering, you immediately get into the atmosphere of cognac production. I advise everyone to visit this place!
The famous cognac factory, tours with tasting of products are held daily, after the tour you can buy branded cognac in the store, both expensive and cheap can only be bought with Armenian dram money, cards are not valid
Very interesting. The smells and the tasting are awesome. You must visit, you came up on your own, and you bought a ticket for the nearest excursion on the spot. You can also buy a ticket on their official website.
A wonderful museum, a great guide-Ani, magical cognacs! These essential pairs of cognac spirits in the storage set up a lyrical mood. I want to hum - Ov sirun, sirun.... For those who are looking for a dream job, I strongly advise you to get a job as a tour guide, a caretaker, or just a watchman. The atmosphere in the workplace is incomparable. The highest score.
A landmark, legendary enterprise. Amazing guides who talk inspiringly about cognac and everything related to it. An interesting tasting of three types of cognac. It's definitely worth a visit.
I really enjoyed the tour of the factory. Fascinating, sweet and informative. The tasting was great, they told me how to drink cognac properly. Smiled)
I met Varlamov there. He was just checking the price and didn't buy anything. I'll attach a photo.
I liked the tour, but there are certain nuances: 1. they are not allowed to shoot, whereas in other distilleries (Armenia and Georgia) they treat it positively and ask to post videos on youtube. 2. The schedule of excursions is disgusting. Believe me, after a little preparation, I would have told everything myself as well as the guide and would not have been tired at all - I mean, you can tell everything to a group of 2 people at a convenient time for them, even your mouth will not dry out. The exposition is weak, the Noah plant has put more effort into the exhibits and atmosphere, but they allow offensive criticism of the Ararat plant, which is not worth doing.
A wonderful factory, although cognac is not cheap, an excellent tasting tour, beautiful and informative, and most importantly there is another factory opposite, do not forget to go there!
One of the most interesting experiences of visiting this place. The tour was excellent. The girl guide spoke excitingly about the history of cognac, and then tasted 3 types of cognac. I liked everything.
A modern museum, a pleasant atmosphere, an interesting tour! And, of course, the tasting! The guide is pleasant, tells an interesting story. I'm not sorry for the money!
It was interesting to visit the Ararat factory Museum. Many people know about the famous Armenian cognac. Please note - this is an excursion to the museum!!! Not for production, unfortunately. But all the same, we learned a lot of interesting things about the production of cognac.
This cognac museum is right next to the Ararat factory! Must-visit!
On the tour you will get a lot of interesting information about the history of cognac production, Armenian traditions, and you will also be able to taste and enjoy a magnificent bouquet!
An interesting tour and tasting. Everything is very well done. Even if you are not fond of alcoholic culture, you may like the sightseeing activity in Yerevan.
But it must be borne in mind that the process itself, for example, bottling in workshops, will not be visible. The tour includes a visit to a special museum part and rooms where spirits ripen in barrels.
Cool! The impressions are great. What spoils the overall picture a little is the conveyor belt, very large groups, and the atmosphere suffers because of this. The factory's products are excellent and different from what is sold in stores under the Ararat brand.
The staff are very pleasant and friendly. The tour is interesting, quite detailed. Yes, they will not take you to the bottling itself, etc., but they will show and tell you a lot.
The staff is very pleasant, the attitude towards Russian people is good.
They give you as much time as you want for tasting), we had three types of cognac - the amount of drink was enough to get drunk)))
Unfortunately, we did not know that we had to sign up for the tour.
Both the price list and the price list need to be familiarized on the site.
You can sign up for a tour online, and pay in fact at the museum's ticket office.
The tours themselves start from 4500 AMD! I'm not such a connoisseur of alcohol to pay that kind of money for an hour of sightseeing. It was disappointing that the entrance to the museum is only part of the tour.
Even those who do not like strong drinks will be interested in listening to the tour. The exposition is small, but comprehensive. At the end, there is a tasting of a couple (or more, depending on the tickets) types of cognac.
The museum offers interesting excursions. In addition to the cognac preparation process, you will also be told a story and some interesting facts. And at the end, the most delicious part is tasting a couple of types of cognac. Kenats!
The oldest cognac factory in the post-Soviet space with a rich history. Wonderful guided tours with tasting. The staff is very friendly. There is a link between generations. Well done for preserving traditions. I recommend

I attended a tasting tour for 10,000 drams (3 cognacs - 10, 15 and 20 years of aging). It was the best choice for me (I booked it on the website in advance). The guide's story is interesting, informative, with a love for winemaking and Armenia. The guests are not taken to the production, but the story is interesting, the tasting is unhurried and competent. There are many opportunities for beautiful photos. They allow you to take photos for free without a flash, and it is forbidden to shoot videos. It's worth buying cognac at the museum! It's really cheaper than in the store (I compared it with the prices of Parma and SASA that evening).
It was not possible to get on the tour here, as everyone books in advance!
And the atmosphere and the factory itself is impressive.
But there's a Noah factory across the river, and the tour is great!!!
A good, talented girl guide-speaks several languages, sings beautifully. But on the Crimean Masandra it was more sincere, more interesting and worth the money.
It's a very cool place. I recommend it to everyone who comes to visit the tasting tour for the first time. On their official website, it is possible to book the view, date and time of the tour in advance.
The place is a must-visit in Yerevan! The beautiful territory of the factory, there is a shop inside, the tour was interesting, I also liked the tasting
Special thanks to the guide - lively, bright, cheerful, on a positive wave and emotional connection with visitors
The tour was fascinating, the tasting was pleasant, there is a waiting room if you come early.
The prices in the store are even more pleasant than in others in the city)
We were pleased with the hospitality of the staff, we settled in without paying for the room (the money was paid late in the evening). The location is good, the room was very large, but the furniture is old, plumbing from the beginning of 2000. It's fine to spend the night, you shouldn't count on more. Breakfasts are also from the 2000s.
A wonderful place, for a change, you can visit the ticks. You can buy cognac, it's cheaper there. There is also chocolate and tea. We went to the open house for free.
