Overall, the hotel is not bad: good location, courteous staff, large comfortable bed, TV with lots of channels (including Russian, if that's important), excellent air conditioning system. But we were not satisfied with the cleanliness. The bed linen hadn't been changed in a week, cockroaches and ants were crawling in the bathroom, and after every cleaning we found the hair of the staff. There was nowhere to dry clothes without a balcony, but we had a view of the sea. There is an elevator, but on the way to the room you will still need to go up a couple of steps - not very convenient for people with limited mobility. Beach towels are provided every day, then only once and at a certain time. They take 1000 baht as a deposit and return it after checking the room.
Our breakfast was not included, it costs 300 baht separately, but we did not dare to try it, we did not really like the smell((

If you are traveling by self-driving without a tour, Karon is perhaps the best hotel in terms of price and quality! The location is not just great, but super bombastic!!! All tourist locations are equally close. It is a pleasure to walk 5 km to the Buddha (now closed for repairs). The temple complex is less than a kilometer away. All good restaurants and foot courts are nearby. It is better to take a room with a balcony facing the courtyard rather THAN the sea (tourists hang out day and night, noise from bikes and cars). The room stock is average, cleaning every day, linen change on request. There is an elevator. It is better to take rooms on 3 or 4 floors. We have already stayed at Anda Beachside twice — in general, a normal option if you need an inexpensive hotel just for an overnight stay. The location is convenient: close to the beach and cafes, everything is within walking distance.
The rooms are simple, without frills. The cleaning is average — not ideal, but acceptable, towels and water were brought regularly. The staff is polite, there is always someone at the reception.
If you plan to travel a lot and not stay in a hotel, then this option is quite suitable. The main thing is not to expect luxury, but the hotel copes with its task.

It took a long time to choose a hotel and we were worried that it would be too noisy, that there would not be a very good beach nearby
In fact, one of the advantages:

- the room itself is clean, this is the most important thing for us in Asia. They cleaned decently, the floors were clean, linen and towels too. There were small goosebumps at the sink, but only there and a little.
-the rooftop pool is nice, with sunset and Buddha views (it still exists)
- the cafe on the ground floor is good, delicious desserts and decent coffee
-breakfasts, I would rather put them in a plus, yes, they are monotonous, but as some people write "there is nothing to eat," I would not say that. There was always watermelon, fresh vegetables, rice, noodles or similar hot dishes, toast, jam. Of course, not butter, but margarine. Don't take it. But it's best to recharge in front of the sailor)

- there are rooms with no view at all, not even to the courtyard, but directly to the hotel, to the elevator and stairs. - there is no double bed, only 2 single beds are pushed together. There is no shared mattress either, so who cares - it's a minus.

The location is super- the beach is right across the street. The exchanger is right on the steps of the hotel. The coffee shop is behind the wall. Seven Eleven is 10 meters away. Fried ice cream, shawarma.
I was in November - the hotel was under renovation, but the price was also pleasant.
Some rooms stink of sewage, these are corner rooms. If you do not pay for the superior room, then you will have a balcony inside the building. So don't skimp on the room, but don't overpay for sea view, it's not worth it. From the usual improved ones, it looks exactly the same.
Clean linen, it is changed every day, cleaned every day.
The breakfasts are good. There were two options: the European one was 2 times, and the traditional one the other 8 times. I am attaching a photo.
I would go there again - this is the coolest thing in my review.
There is a pool with bubbles on the top of the roof - but we only looked at it, there was no need for it. And I don't want to catch rotovirus, although it smelled like bleach.
We were with children 9-12 years old, everything is normal.

We had a room with a balcony on the 2nd floor, overlooking the courtyard at the reception of the neighboring hotel. It was quiet, the neighbors, the streets were not heard at all. The room has a safe, kettle, refrigerator. Water was given in bottles every day. Right on the porch of this hotel there is an exchanger with a favorable rate, a bunch of restaurants and shops, everything is close, you can not walk very far in the heat, there is also your own cafe with air conditioning, very comfortable. The door to the toilet did not close in our room upon arrival and the air conditioner was poorly cooled. They told the reception, two young men came a minute later and fixed everything. There is a swimming pool on the roof, pleasant, used. Thank you for a good rest, we enjoyed everything!
PS: We went on a trip from Biblioglobus. The only negative during the whole trip is the BG Olga hotel manager. An impudent liar! I lied about the excursion to the Similan Islands, they say, a group of up to 30 people, in fact there were more than 60 people on the boat, they say, 1-1.5 hours to the pier, in fact - 2.5 hours on an empty road, 3.5 hours back with traffic jams. There were just three of us, we all settled on the bed under different blankets, fortunately the bed is 2.5 meters, the cot was removed from us, but I must say right away, this option is not for everyone, the room is cleaned perfectly, towels were changed every day, linen almost every other day. The breakfasts are the same every day, portioned: 2 eggs, sausage, 2 pieces of fried bacon, a layer of ham, a lettuce leaf, 2 slices of tomatoes and toast. No additives, you could change 1 egg for toast. The fruits were sliced, always watermelon and, either, tangerines, or, dragon's eye. There was always a Thai who kept a sharp eye on everything, when we went for fruit for the second or even the third time, he literally drilled us with his eyes. Once I stopped people coming out with a tangerine, like there is only in the dining room. It's unpleasant when they save on small things. The deposit is $ 100, after everything was counted in the room, it was returned without any problems. The pool on the roof is about nothing, the children also grabbed rotavirus.
