Hi everybody.
They were brought from the airport to the hotel around 11 am, and immediately everyone was sent to a restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast, they almost immediately checked into the room, having previously shown several options. These two points made us very happy. Very friendly and helpful staff, just super.
The rooms are certainly not super (furniture, doors, plumbing, ventilation).
But I knew about it before the trip. And by and large I went there not to Enjoy the number, but the beauty of the red Sea and the city itself.
The hotel is located on the first line, in the bay, the descent to the beach is by elevator, but you can also take the stairs. Perfect.

We recommend it! Upon arrival, we paid $ 20 for the convenient location of the room. The furniture in the rooms is old. On the last night, a pipe burst in the bathroom, flooded.

The food is not particularly tasty, but you can choose. There were shrimps once a week.
There are 2 swimming pools on the territory: 1 round shallow, the second - 170 or less.
Animation works great, you won't get bored.
There is a place to walk to see the city and go shopping (go down the elevator and to the right, or from the main entrance in both directions).
A beautiful reef to the left of the sandy approach.
Walking along the promenade and from the restaurant you can admire the magnificent view of the bay.

A good hotel, varied food, there is an Italian restaurant, coffee beans, bottled drinks. The Internet is working throughout the territory!!! The beach is nearby, there is a reef and fish, there are always places under the sun lounger, also near the pool. We lived in a bungalow, room 3011, the furniture is old but everything is in good condition. It was always clean on site, the staff was polite. I liked the SPA too. The old town is next to the hotel (1.5km). In principle, an excellent hotel for your money, in general, I liked the Albatross chain. I was in Hurghada earlier, the charm is definitely better. It was in May 2022.

It's the worst vacation I've had in the last few years. The service is zero - they require a chocolate bar for opening the safe, and money is required for repairing the toilet. The rooms and bungalows are just garbage cans. It's dirty, the furniture is 100 years old. Nutrition - pigs are better fed. They throw toothpicks on the table to you like an animal. The dishes are all paper and plastic. The plates and glasses are dirty. The contingent of vacationers is 50-70 years old. There are practically no young people. There is no animation as such. In general, there is nothing to do here from the word at all. All reviews of this hotel are purchased. The beach, as I understand it, is the only thing that is normal here. And objectively, if you don't want to spoil your vacation, don't come here. We flew here by the Fun Sun tour operator. On the fourth day, we ask you to take us out of this dump, with any additional payment - once a day they send information that this hotel that we have chosen is currently occupied. The helmet is another hotel - a day later they write that there are no places in it either. At our request to send information where we can be resettled so that we can choose from their list - they say they can't do that.. at the same time, vacationers of other tour operators get out of here every day. Therefore, Fan San is also responsible for organizing the rest.

We stayed at the hotel in October. Of the advantages, the beach is sandy, with a ladder, suitable for children, and there are corals a little to the side. And a beautiful view of the bay and the old town. Everything else is just creepy. The rooms are very, very old! Everything breaks in my hands. Especially in the central building. The food is modest, the same every day. Cheap alcohol, no cocktails. Glasses were often found with traces of lipstick and not washed at all… The staff is not very friendly. Sometimes it's even scary to approach. I especially want to pay attention to the reception staff: when checking in, they try to put absolutely everyone in creepy rooms in the central building, regardless of the paid room category! Next, the extortion of money for another number begins. All this is happening in a very rough way. As far as I understand, all managers are aware of such a business. Almost all hotel guests go through this. I think it is worth paying attention to the top management and those who are responsible for the hotel category.

We visited this hotel for the second time, the first time 9 years ago. The changes have been for the better. The food has improved, of course it suffers from diversity, but overall it's not bad. The room was given a two-room room for a small fee, cleaning every day is fine. The beach is good, there is access to the sea and sand and corals, and if you go further to the wild beach, then there is generally beauty, living untouched corals. In general, we liked everything, we rested for 11 days.

A shabby hotel with a cheap renovation (September 2022). Of the 4 declared stars, only the food corresponds. The beach is for children (empty, clean to swim), for snorkeling we went to the wild reef beach 5 minutes from the hotel, strictly south along the shore (27.854638, 34.298674). It was this reef that brightened up all the disadvantages of the hotel for us. The rooms in the bungalows are very worn, creaking laminate flooring (first encountered in Egyptian hotels), a barely alive refrigerator, unpainted painted walls, shabby doors, windows without a hint of sound insulation (the muezzin screaming at 3:45 in the morning will not let you lie). In addition, the administration started repairing the parapets, for 2 days they walked and rattled on the roof (goodbye quiet hour), dirty smudges went on the walls outside (seen in the photo), in front of the front door there were pieces of mortar that were removed only after the end of work at the end of the day. The pool is tiny and always packed, the reception is outrageously simple and always stuffy, the territory is clean, but, like the reception is simple, there is little greenery, everything is very ascetic. I will especially note the elevator to the beach, which just didn't work once at noon due to a power outage and had to go back up the stairs on the 6th photo (approximately 7 floors). The last hotel I would return to. I posted photos of laminate flooring with cracks, mold on the seams in the bathroom and broken doors, but Yandex rejected these photos, leaving only beautiful views and the only photo of the room. I stayed at this hotel not once before 2017, this year I sent my wife with a child and mother-in-law. The hotel is not bad, the bay, good access to the sea. Coral is nearby , beautiful . I paid for a bungalow with a sea view. Upon arrival, it turned out that all the bungalows were occupied, the person at the reception was communicating in style - you listen here, I'm telling you... So-so service, they brought us to some small room with a view of the pool, after a scandal and negotiations with the tour operator, they gave us a more or less normal room with a guarantee of relocation the next day to a bungalow. As a result, we arrived at 15-00 and instead of resting, we swore for 2 hours and searched for rooms. Tomorrow morning, instead of resting, there will be relocation again at 10:00 . Here is such a service. The bartender works with such a face that he seems ready to kill you, but he has to serve you. In general, so far the impression of Egypt is not very good. But even before, the only thing I liked there was the fish in the sea. I hope at least they didn't get any angrier.
The dinner is not bad, even varied. But in hotels of this level, the main thing is not the variety of food, but its safety. The glasses in the bar are not very clean, for example, lipstick is not washed.
The hotel was chosen because, firstly, there have already been, and secondly, recently there have been a lot of reviews from our Russian travelers. Now, for some reason, I want to go to places where there are fewer foreigners.
But the level of the hotel was low before, and now, by the efforts of the management team, it has fallen even lower.

Purely my observations and personal opinion.
In principle, the attitude towards tourists from Russia has always been worse than towards tourists from England, for example. Probably, many countries have this worship of the Anglo-Saxons in their blood, for me, ordinary people who pay the same money as you and me. Previously, I thought that there was simply little culture in our tourists (they do not know languages other than Russian, they are rude, noisy, drink a lot, etc.), but now everything has changed in the last 5 years, or maybe more. In my opinion, Russia has become a very cultured country. In fact, I now believe that tourists from Russia are certainly no worse than Europeans in terms of culture of behavior, and maybe even better in some ways. Therefore, it is entitled to demand, even if no special treatment from the hotel staff, but the fulfillment of their direct obligations for sure. I don't want hotel managers in general and this in particular to be able to even think that it would do for tourists from our country anyway. And it seems to me that these thoughts often visit them.

We returned from the hotel in January 2023. Of the advantages of the hotel, only its location, proximity to the sea and convenient access to it. On the beach, they poured only beer, fast food, French fries, and baked pizza. On foot, you can quickly walk across the beach to the old town, where you can take beautiful photos in the evening and enjoy shopping in Arabic. There is one restaurant in the hotel, the food is all edible, quite decent for a 4-star hotel, but without frills. The fruits are all cut except tangerines, which I really didn't like. There is no good coffee. Apples were cut into slices , which were put in water so that they would not turn black. Alcohol is incomprehensible. The wine from the bottles in the bar at Christmas was excellent, after it was poured, something from under the floor, it was unpleasant to drink. The numbers were shocked, completely killed. There are no chairs in the room. The TV remote worked every other time, it was all taped up. The bathroom is in poor condition, the water was leaking badly, constant dampness on the floor. According to the photo, you can estimate ... there is no ventilation from the word at all. It's very cold, they tried to turn on the air conditioner, but a lot of dirt and dust flew from there. The only thing that pleased me was the snow-white linen on the beds. Cleaning as always, dust on furniture, mirror everywhere in a thick layer. I recommend taking slippers and bathrobes to keep warm after a shower. If you compare it with the hotel (aqua blue), which you also visited, then I recommend only there. There are whole fruits and varied food, the room stock is excellent, although the same four. It will be comfortable and fun for children! In general, for unassuming elderly couples, you can go with children, I do not recommend it- it's boring!

We rested from 04/16/2024. Standart room. The room is "tired", the pressure is barely in the shower. Underwear is outdated and needs to be replaced.
The food is so meager and monotonous (pancakes are raw, beef is tough). They took only fish in sauce. Croissants 2 pieces per hand. And, in general, a lot about the issue. The faces of the men giving out food are so evil that it's scary to look at. There is an elevator or stairs to the sea. There are very few sunbeds (I got up at 5:30 in the morning and went to borrow). At 9 a.m., there were no more people available (poor vacationers from other hotels). Entering the sea is a small pebble: corrals are definitely needed. The sea was cool and the wind was constant. Overall, it's not bad. Prices are too high this year. The hotel is not worth the money. They feed exactly for 4. It's a long way to walk to the sea. It is inconvenient to travel according to the schedule. No offense, but it caught my eye. This behavior has only been seen in this hotel. I rested in 2 others, there was no such thing. The rooms were decent. Everything is clean and well cleaned. When I was there, a girl's cell phone was stolen from a restaurant, she forgot it on the table, returned 5 minutes later, and no one even looked for it. They said, well, it happens.
