In general, it's not a bad place. The company is located in the Beautiful Musser nature reserve, with a public beach, historical abandonments, as usual, with one of Stalin's many dachas, shops with local products, sap rental, horseback riding, etc. The second is the third line of campsites from the sea. A leisurely 7-minute walk. It is located near a river and forest thickets. On the one hand, it gives shade on a hot day, but the presence of ticks is annoying (according to the staff, they rarely bite, but not incestuous), it comforts little. The accommodation conditions are somewhat cramped. One big one
a multi-level clearing , with several platforms for small tents. There are also bungalow-type houses, without amenities and air conditioning. The cost for such a pleasure at the same time is 3,500 rubles per night. Parking is outside the Camp gate, they are not allowed on the territory even for unloading and loading, which is quite inconvenient. The camp has a hot shower, toilets, and a kitchen. The cost of renting a place if you come with your tent is 600 rubles per person. There is practically nowhere to put a large tent (for 4 people).
What I'm shooting stars for: we booked a camping place while still in Russia. We have been confirmed that we are expected. The surprises started when we arrived at the place. It turned out !!! That camping is ONLY for VEGETARIANS. That it is absolutely impossible to import and cook any meat in their kitchen, as well as to drink alcohol, smoke, etc. There is no such information anywhere on the site. The administrator commented that, of course, no one will catch sausage in the tent, but please eat meat only outside the gates of the campsite. Guys, this is unpleasant in the first place. Secondly, it's not just done that way! Why should people find out about such essential things only when they arrived at the place, almost at night? It was simply possible to avoid the nerves and waste of our precious rest time and your working time by simply informing us about it IN ADVANCE! There would be no complaints. As a result, I had to urgently look for a new place to stay in a foreign country at night, without the Internet.
I will also attribute the condition of the road to the disadvantages - about 15 km (after the exit from the Sukhumi highway) There is a winding serpentine with a pass and a height difference to the campsite. The road is completely missing in places.
The Internet is extremely unstable, even with the presence of a local SIM card. It catches only in a few places on the hills near the sea.

A pleasant campsite, equipped with everything you need. There is a very tasty, soulfully cooked vegetarian food from Sofia and Ivan. The best organization of processes from Daria and Nikita. The clear and well-coordinated work of the volunteers, their attentive attitude. A pleasant bonus is morning yoga, master classes and games for children and adults, various practices for those who wish.
We were lucky enough to move into the house. This is a separate thrill. In the evening, we fell asleep to the singing of birds and cicadas.
We returned rested and happy.

A paradise on the territory of Abkhazia. It's a magical place. Amazing people gather in this place.The territory is well-groomed and clean, lots of greenery and cozy places to relax. The tent sites are spacious, with convenient access to electricity and water. Sanitary conditions are excellent: showers and toilets are always clean and well equipped. The staff is friendly and always ready to help. I especially liked the organized events and entertainment for the guests. A great place for a family vacation in nature. I will definitely come here again)

This is the best place where I spent my best summer! Magical nature, the sea is a gentle, secluded place without a crowd of tourists. Healthy lifestyle at the camp: delicious vegetarian food, yoga every morning, soulful songs around the campfire in the evenings.
And most importantly, the COMMUNITY of THEIR close relatives, like one big friendly family. In this camp, people open their hearts, and immediately feel at home, in a warm circle of relatives. It's so fulfilling and healing.
Leisure is intense: during the summer there were classes in dancing, aikido, zumba, wushu, vocal, oratorical duels, movies, board games, tennis tournament, concerts, contests, quests, creative MK, needlework, not to mention everything.
Children have plenty of space, they get high here.
There is a great massage therapist.

If you want to live by the sea and enjoy nature and peace without losing comfort - Kukumba is perfect for you.
The camp is located in the Musser nature reserve, 200 meters from the beach, in a small distance and privacy. A mountain river flows through it, which is very saving in the heat. People come here with children, families and couples.
You can rent a place for a tent, or you can rent a house, but without a toilet - a bed and a roof over your head, for those who are more used to it. The camp has a shared kitchen and dining room, toilets, hot water showers, washing machine, its own yoga room on stilts.
The day starts with yoga, and ends around the campfire or at the board tables.
I have never met such sincere and interesting people, I warm up in this campsite, and children have the opportunity to run wild, communicate with elders and peers. There is respect, friendliness and such an immersion in oneself that one does not want to leave "for the big world" at all.
The sea in Kukumba is clean, because the cities are far away and nothing flows here - there are no infections. The shore is stone. You can come to the camp by car, you can order a transfer from the Adler border from the guys.
We sincerely thank Dasha, Nikita and the entire camp team for a wonderful vacation. And we don't say goodbye. See you!

Although I don't like to repeat myself in choosing travel locations, I returned to this campsite again, and I will return again. The possibility of privacy with nature and joint leisure in pleasant company are perfectly combined here. If you want to read a book in a hammock, if you want to play board games with everyone. Living in a tent, you get all the necessary amenities: electricity, a warm shower, etc. The sea is a few steps away. The sea is clean, the beach is free. And the cuisine is beyond praise, tastier than in a restaurant. I really fell in love with this camp, it has already become my native one. I recommend it

This is a magical place! We were in Abkhazia for the first time and immediately arrived in A-Kukumba. Everything went great! District administrators and chefs make this place unusual ❤❤ Spiritual, breathing practices, morning exercises, yoga, evening around the campfire with a guitar, board games, evening movie watching… All this is magical and unforgettable.

The coolest place! The amosphere is fire! At first, everything is so quiet, calm, and by the evening everyone is already so close, when to leave, and I don't want to at all. But then how about delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners?! Many thanks to Sofa and Ivan for the delicious cuisine. (With bread, the pleasure was stretched for 2 weeks)) And Nikita and Dasha are great fellows for organizing everything so well! The common areas are always clean! I was also pleased with the availability of warm water.
I remember the games and the evening bonfire for a long time. We stayed for 4 days for the first time, three days later we returned again for 4 days, and now we are thinking when we will return there again!
And the parents' comment is a separate story! They decided that we've all known each other for a long time.😁
I recommend everyone to visit such a wonderful place!

The kitchen of A-kukumba is worth a separate post! There are two excellent chefs in the 2024 season. This is the incredible Sofia and the master of improvisation Ivan!
The kitchen itself looks like a wizard's workshop. Dozens if not hundreds of jars, jars and bottles, powders and herbs, amazing aggregates and God only knows what else. Well, the oven, decorated in bamboo, looks like you will be served bread made from flour created from dust particles caught in the rays of the rising sun and mixed with dew (who understood the reference to the fairy tale, he is well done))).
And they really will serve! Just not out of specks of dust. Rye bread, wheat bread, corn bread, with seeds, with raisins, sweet dessert bread, bread with a thin crust and spicy aroma, bread with vegetables, herbs and seasonings, bread that you will remember all your life. And to the question "how did you do it?" You will hear in response: "you'll laugh at how easy it is."
But! Not with bread alone, as they say, A-kukumba is full. I don't have enough words or writing talent to sing about all the variety of dishes and their taste palette. But for your understanding, I will say one thing: I am a convinced meat eater and a master of sports in consuming animal protein. There can only be two meats better than meat, from my point of view. And I can honestly say that if Sofia and Ivan feed me for the rest of my life (let me remind you that the camp kitchen does not involve meat and fish), I will be happy.
There are also claims, of course. Not everything is so smooth. For example, I complain all the time that everything is too tasty and there is too much of everything and that it is impossible to stop. But that's something else! After the table is set and the capacity of the stomach is already calculated in the head and there is an understanding of what and how much you need to try in order not to die of gluttony, they suddenly bring out a pie, a cupcake, a new bread with a new sauce or something else. And here you are sitting at the table, torn by contradictions, bargaining desperately with yourself and convincing yourself that tomorrow... Tomorrow everything will be different and you will pull yourself together and courageously say a firm and decisive NO to overeating... But, alas, everything will happen again. Only with new breads, cutlets, smoked soups, pies, sauces, compotes and teas, salads, porridges, cupcakes.

Our family was lucky enough to have a rest at this campsite. We arrived late in the evening, despite this, we were fed delicious vegetarian food, helped to set up tents.
During the day, camping lives a very busy life: yoga, revi tonics, volleyball, tennis, watching a movie / cartoon, board games, campfire gatherings, master classes and much more. The people there are all very interesting, friendly, and always ready to share their knowledge - this is a real team of like-minded people - from the administration to ordinary vacationers. Our vacation was warm and sincere.

We are thrilled!!!We absolutely did not regret that we went to Kukumba, and we will definitely come again! The camp area is wonderful and atmospheric. It is clear that everything is done with a soul, very creatively in an ethnic style. There is a campfire room – there are events around the campfire, and you can also lie in hammocks on a hot day. In general, there are many hammocks throughout the territory, which is very pleasing)) There is also a yoga area, an art zone, a kitchen, toilets, showers, houses that can be rented, and in the vicinity of about three shops with affordable prices. The sea is a three-minute walk from the camp, the beach is clean and nice. In general, everything is for a comfortable life. And also very tasty food! Let many people be "scared" by the lack of meat, but this is not felt at all and does not affect the taste, satiety.
I would like to say a separate word about the family atmosphere in the camp, sincerity and willingness to help.
In kukumba, you rest your soul and body, we advise everyone to go, you will definitely not regret it! Thanks a lot to Dasha and Nikita, and to the entire volunteer staff! We will definitely come again, for a longer time!

We come here for the second year in a row with two children.
The only place where we can really relax and unwind: there are no dangerous roads, cars, no drunk and inadequate people, there are no eternal kebabs around the clock with beer.
Here you don't worry at all about what the children are doing, they are constantly doing something, playing with someone, generally living their lives, and we adults can finally relax)
The camp has everything you need: a warm shower, a kitchen, a dining room, normal toilets, a washing machine. If you don't want to cook yourself, you can take breakfasts, lunches and dinners, they are really delicious.
Dasha and Nikita will always help, they will tell you if you suddenly forgot something at home (for example, there is a first-aid kit on duty, shared dishes, mats, sleeping bags, etc.).
The camp is getting better every year, this year they built a new house with all amenities, made a campfire area in the forest in the shade with hammocks (there is a place to rest in the heat), and in the evening there is a bonfire with a guitar.
In general, Kukumba is love. The children were crying, they didn't want to leave.

The place is magical: beautiful, atmospheric, magical! For contemplation and relaxation, that's the thing. I was in "off season". Now I'm going to summer!
The organizers of Kukumba are young guys, very enterprising, sincere. You can see how they try to arrange everything, organize the space. We conducted a small tour, introduced the locals, and even managed to get to an evening around the campfire with music and stories from the locals.
You need to understand that this is not a place in the comfort plus hotel. It's like a tent camp, with all its flavor. But! There are amenities: a refined toilet, a shower, a kitchen with a gas stove, and all related items for life.

We had a camping trip last summer (end of June 2022) and really liked it. The children are insanely happy. Nature, space, freedom. Outdoor games and creativity are all outdoors. The sea is nearby. This is the most convenient camping (in my opinion): electricity, kitchen with dishes, washing machine, toilet and showers. Vegetarian cuisine. If you want to live in a house, you want to live in a tent.
I want to come back again! I even bought myself an Imaginarium, I really liked this game.
I was with five children (the youngest is 1 year 8 months old, the eldest is 11). I thought it would be difficult with lyalechka in the tent, it turned out that they come with a 9-month-old child (judging by the comments). This means a comfortable camping!!!

We were vacationing with a family with children aged 5 and 7 at the end of August 2023. We were going camping for the first time, so I was very worried about how everything would be. Is everything really as interesting and good in this campsite as described on the website 🙃It so happened that we arrived late at night, but we were greeted rosily, everything was shown both upon arrival and after. Everything is cool! I was very surprised by the toilets 😄I did not expect that nature would be like in the room 😉Most importantly, they were always clean! The children took our vacation with a Bang simply! They really liked everything! There is a place to run and something to play! The territory is huge and fenced, so we were calm for the children! The beach is clean, pebbly, sparsely populated. No one from the family caught the intestine 👍The water in the sea was clean and very warm))
The people in the camp are all friendly, creative and simple! The guys from the camp are working, trying to attract both children and adults. Every day they have interesting activities, games, dancing, drawing, movies in the evenings and much more! The food is purely vegan, very tasty and varied. You can cook by yourself, there is everything you need in the kitchen. Hiking in the mountains is also organized. I really liked everything!!! Thank you very much for such a nice and peaceful place, guys! Prosperity to you! We hope that we will come again! 😇😇😇

For the first time I decided to relax at the campsite, my choice fell on A-Kukuba! I am glad that I did not choose any more, because this is exactly the place where I think I will return more than once. It is very important especially if it is the first time to get positive emotions from a vacation and I was lucky with it. Firstly, camping is alcohol-free and this is a big plus that all vacationers are conscious. Secondly, there is the possibility of both privacy and active recreation. Now there are also saps in the camp, games, training and plus what is important to me are bathrooms and showers. I would like to sincerely thank the administration for the warm welcome and the warm send-off of the volunteers. You guys are great fellows, I wish prosperity to your cozy place and to you!

A great place to reboot, take a break from the routine and learn something new. The sea is nearby. It's not hot because of the river. You don't have to cook. The staff is friendly and professional. I liked the food, even though I'm not a vegetarian. The area is large and there is a lot of shade.

We came to the campsite for 10 days and stayed for a month and a half! I chose this place because they don't drink alcohol, smoke, swear, or eat meat here. And I decided to stay because I got into a magical, friendly atmosphere, in the company of wonderful, bright people. The camp is located on the territory of the reserve, there is clean air, beautiful sea. There is everything you need to live in a tent. Every morning starts with yoga! The guys constantly organize joint trips to the mountains, mini-hikes to lakes and waterfalls. We will definitely come again! I would like to thank everyone who created and develops such a wonderful place and everyone who chooses A-Kukumba as guests.
