Faced with this approach in several stores of the chain, I was ready to refuse to buy, if not for the case – I was lucky in the 5-element in the shopping center on Kamennaya Hill. There I saw how one of the consultants helps the client with the choice (he does not "load" and shines with his knowledge, namely in MY WAY!). I decided to turn to him with a choice.
And since the task was non–standard: to buy 3in1 - to test in practice the expediency (in my case) of using a TV instead of a monitor: for work, for movies, and for games.
The technical "anamnesis" of the Internet and workplace conditions (0.8 - 2m) predicted 16:9 ~38" c OLED and >100 Hz. But the risk of lack of experience working close to a large screen (and not a dimensionless wallet) first prompted an experiment with budget models and other TTX. And here it was impossible to do without the help of a consultant on the spot, and without a test when buying.
So, the consultant (name is Vladislav) turned out to be, as they say, with a "twinkle in his eyes" to his business and work: he clarified everything, made his comments, shared his personal experience of switching to a larger monitor. Patiently allowed me to test (pre-downloaded tests on a laptop) the models brought by the delivery service to the store. When unpacking as much as 4 times (che-re Karl!!!) I unpacked and packed the boxes when selecting and testing a suitable model. And this is not counting the time spent checking the highlights of the matrix and searching for broken pixels. At the same time, Vladislav managed to serve other suitable customers without dumping them on colleagues. Here is such a store in the 5element network.
Result:
- savings = 2500 rubles. (without fear, I mercilessly use this "educational" trophy);
- warranty + a proven monitor without glare and broken pixels (not a cat in a bag, more precisely in a box),
- games = did not change PC settings (full immersion);
- movies and TV = as expected, everything is OK by default;
- work = removed additional monitors, graphs-I don't scroll through tables;
- health = I removed my glasses, I change the image scale depending on the distance (sitting / lying down).
Epicrisis and conclusions based on the results of the purchase:
1) Don't waste your precious time looking at pictures, photos and reviews. Believe me, "feel it alive" and make sure that this is your style – it will not work according to the pictures;
2) replacement for the online purchase of complex household appliances, if something did not suit you - that's another story. It is better to immediately contact the store and check everything on the spot.
3) do not hesitate to ask the seller/ consultant "stupid" questions. If you want an answer, you need to ask a question. And a good consultant is better than any couch theorist on the Internet (because your case is unique, isn't it?))).

Two guys walk in and boots across the apartment into the back room on the carpet.
Without paying attention to the menu at all, they take out the TV.
Without responding to my questions and request for verification.
He points with his finger where I need to look, turns it on.
As soon as the screen lights up, he pulls the plug out of the socket and asks to sign for acceptance.
I explain that until I see the pictures and hear that there is a sound, I will not accept.

In general, it's not bad, but... I bought a rondell frying pan for an induction cooker. The consultant helped determine the choice and recommended a pan with a titanium coating, assuring of its reliability and durability, and if something happens to it within a year, it can be handed over to the service for checking for factory defects. Less than 4 months later, the non-stick coating in the center of the pan began to collapse. I entered it into the service, they accepted it without any problems, they said they would take a photo and send it to the supplier. Two days later, a response came from the supplier, who professionally established that the damage was caused by overheating of the pan on an open fire (I have an induction cooker, cooking was done at 7-8 power level) and the use of sharp metal objects (silicone spatula), to refuse a refund. Minus 100 rubles for a low-quality frying pan.
Do not trust consultants and do not buy rondell, it is better to pay extra and buy tefal.
