On 06/11/2026, I applied to the Yakhont jewelry workshop on Cosmonauts Boulevard in Brest in order to "expand" the gold wedding ring, the amount of 15 rubles was announced, but in the process the master ran in and began to tell me a story about hidden defects (stratification) and fixed it with soldering for an additional amount, so it is also visually visible. So it turns out that I give the whole gold product, but they spoil it for me, and under the pretext of hidden defects (I consider this to be the master's mistake when working with the equipment) they charge me an additional 10 rubles for incomplete elimination of their own mistake . That is, the defect appeared AFTER the intervention of the master. The ring was intact when I gave it back. After the expansion operation (that is, thermal and mechanical effects), a stripe and delamination appeared. There is a violation of technology. Delamination during expansion is a classic sign of metal overheating with a blowtorch or too harsh mechanical action. Conclusion: the master himself created the conditions for the manifestation of the "defect", either by improperly heating the ring, or by taking on work that his equipment / qualifications could not cope with. P.S. I didn't swear, because I was in a hurry to get to work, paid the full amount for the "extension" in addition to the "soldering" and was left with a visually damaged wedding ring. I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone from Brest to contact the Yakhont jewelry workshop. Deserved 1 star . ALTHOUGH YOU CAN FILE A LAWSUIT using the Consumer Protection Act.

The most optimal option is to make rings from scrap. Checked at several addresses. The production takes about a month everywhere. Highly qualified staff, professionals with many years of experience. Satisfied

A jewelry workshop of the Soviet format, therefore, the service also corresponds with the obligatory use of phrases: "expect", "wait", "I'm busy")) At the same time, they do their job well for little money
