Great hotel. Everything is organized at a high level. Very good breakfasts. It's hard to write what's not on breakfast, everything is there. Very comfortable rooms. There are no questions about cleaning, maintenance. The only drawback or feature of the hotel is the shallow pool, but it is very beautiful and the lack of an equipped beach, but it is public right behind the hotel. You can swim in the sea, and then return to the sun beds by the pool. I don't think it's suitable for children, but for the rest of the categories, everything is fine!

Location The hotel is located in the beach area of Muscat next to the Intercontinental Hotel and the Royal Opera House. The international airport is 20 km away, an individual transfer takes 20-30 minutes. The Old Market, Sultan Qaboos Mosque and Mattrah Promenade are a 15-minute drive away. 2. The territory The hotel has 2 outdoor pools, one of which is located on the roof overlooking the city. There is also a tennis court, a fitness center, a SPA area, several meeting rooms with modern equipment. Free Wi-Fi. In the evening, the territory is beautifully illuminated, it is a pleasure to walk after dinner. There is a VIP lounge if guests want to relax with a group or celebrate an event. 3. The room Spacious rooms (from 40m2) with cool design and interesting details in the interiors (lamps, moldings on the ceiling, pillows, etc.). The room categories are named to match the impressions of the hotel – Wonderful, Fantastic, WOW, etc. 4. Nutrition The breakfasts are good: eggs in various forms of cooking, sausages, hash browns. Side dishes: vegetables, beans, mushrooms. There is a corner with an oriental kitchen. Several types of yoghurts and cereals, sausage and cheese cuts, and also red fish. The cook prepares scrambled eggs with various additives: tomatoes, mushrooms, cheese, etc. Pancakes and waffles with various fillings (nutella, syrups, whipped cream, jams, honey) are also baked. A large selection of pastries: muffins, croissants, buns with various fillings, puff pastry, etc. Fruits: tangerines, pineapples, grapes, green and red apples, passion fruit, melon and watermelon. A-la-carte restaurants are open on certain days (this is specified when booking). Relaxing by the pool, you can order food (burgers/sandwiches, nachos/French fries, etc.) and drinks on call on the table by the sun loungers. 5. Entertainment A DJ is playing in the evening. You can smoke a hookah in the bar (cost 12 real). At the time of my visit, only one flavor was offered - a double Nahla apple. You can relax in the sports bar "Char". 6. The beach There is an exit to the city beach through the gate (entrance-exit according to the map). There are no umbrellas or sun beds on the beach. The beach offers views of the Al Hajar Mountains. The beach characteristics are not the most ideal. I would say that the beach here is a nice addition to the hotel. 7. The overall impression The hotel is for those who like stylish and unusual design. A great option if you want to combine acquaintance with Muscat, but at the same time live closer to the sea. For some, the hotel may seem dark (mostly corridors), but there is an explanation for this. The hotels of the W chain have an unusual concept: for them, guests are like stars who "shine" on stage (in this case, these are rooms, restaurants and "activity" zones), and corridors are like a passage to the stage, a kind of backstage.
