We chose new hotels from the rating, and we didn't regret it. Comfortably. Very well maintained territory, excellent service, beautiful coral. The outlets for snorkeling are conveniently made. Large rooms. DJ and live music to choose from. They work with children, and there are new programs every day. It 's endlessly fashionable to keep going .They took it at breakfast . According to the cost of the restaurant, the result is the same price order as with inclusivity, but without restrictions on the menu. A great restaurant with fresh fish and other animals that are cooked in front of you. Steaks came in too. The breakfasts (arrived after Atlantis Royal) are the best.I recommend you to visit.

A great hotel for a relaxing and secluded stay. Large and spacious two-storey bungalow villas with excellent design and facilities with separate access to the water. The service and the kitchen are excellent. Beautiful home reef. Expensive.

Dear travelers! This review is dedicated to the Marriott W Maldives Hotel, which opened in the spring of 2025 after renovation. This will be my personal opinion from what I've seen, but I'll try to make it as objective as possible. The W Maldives Hotel is located on the island of Fesdhoo in the North Ari atoll (or there is another name for it - Alifu Alifu Atoll), west-southwest of the capital of the Maldives Male. When exiting the old airport building! (this is despite the fact that in 2025, the new airport building in Male was opened with great fanfare, which was under construction for more than 10 years, and it is still not being used for its intended purpose) we quickly found representatives of the W hotel. Both were positive and friendly. They quickly registered us for a seaplane. The hotel does not have its own lounge, the hotel uses the spacious Male Airport business lounge. A representative of the hotel will approach you in the seaplane lounge and fill out all the paperwork according to your passports so that you don't waste time checking in on the island. The hotel deposit is $230 per person per day. For 6 days and three people, we had 4,200S$. No one warned us about this, but you should be prepared. The card deposit is taken by the representative, the cash deposit is taken on the island. They announced the amount to us, but for some reason they didn't take anything on the island. The wait for the seaplane was only an hour and a half, which is quite fast for the Maldives. The flight to the island took half an hour. And here we are in paradise. We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, and the hotel kindly provided us with an above-ground villa for temporary (until 14:00) accommodation. We managed to relax after a long flight and even swim in the ocean. The island is small, only 250x200m, but it is very green, with many tall palm trees. In the morning, I walked around it along the shore in just 5-6 minutes. There are 50 water villas and 28 land-based villas on the island, for a total of 78 villas. Some villas are still undergoing renovation. The above-ground villas are two-storied. On the first floor there is a small bedroom, on the second there is a swing sofa under the roof, this is a relaxation area (it would be better if there was an additional room). Not all land-based villas have good access to the sea. Small sand fleas are present on the above-ground villas. Chemical treatment on the island is done manually, which is clearly insufficient. Repellents are required for land-based villas, and the hotel provides them. Still, it's better to rent water villas in this hotel. There are a couple of disadvantages to the hotel. All villas (both land and water) have very slippery tiles on the floor. Most likely, the builders put tiles for the walls on the floor. If it's wet, or your feet are wet, you can really slip and get hurt. Also, all villas have steps (height difference) inside the rooms, you can suddenly fall, especially at night, although they are illuminated at night. The design solution with steps is very unfortunate and completely unsafe, be vigilant and careful. That's all about the cons. In the rooms with separate beds, the beds themselves are very large, almost one and a half. In the water villa where we lived, there is a good descent ladder into the water, it will be convenient even for the elderly. Room cleaning is twice a day, very high-quality and unobtrusive. The villa is cleaned when you leave for breakfast or dinner, so when you come back, the villa has already been cleaned, you don't notice the cleaning. The rooms have Davines cosmetics and Bose speakers, large TVs. Very good water pressure in the shower in all villas, which is very good for the Maldives. The water villa has several glass windows in the floor, it is very interesting to see who swims under you, we have seen stingrays swimming many times. Adapters for the Maldivian type of sockets are present in the rooms, you do not need to take them with you. There is a fitness room above the Wet Deck bar, the entrance to the fitness room is based on your room card. The hotel has a system of personal butlers. By a lucky chance, we got the beautiful Gulnaz, a young and smiling girl from Kyrgyzstan with a good Russian language, great positivity and wonderful service. We are grateful to her for our wonderful vacation! There is a beautiful girl named Butler Symbat from Kazakhstan, she is very sweet and friendly. It was a pleasure talking to her. One of the best managers of the Nichula Hotel, who made our stay more comfortable. Thanks to him from our whole family. The hotel has a very friendly staff, everyone smiles at you and tries to serve you. This positive attitude creates a good mood for relaxation. A welcome bottle of Moet French champagne, a plate of sweets and a plate of fruit were waiting for us in the room. Communication with the butlers takes place through the WhatsApp program. The hotel appreciates and fulfills your wishes. The buggies called through WhatsApp arrive very quickly. The hotel has three restaurants, the main Kitchen, the Meat Fire, and the Fishy Fish (it's paid only), located on the ocean. There are two bars, a Wet Deck, next to the pool, and a Sip, also on the ocean, where it is the most convenient place to watch the sunsets. The breakfasts in the Kitchen are very high quality, you can order sparkling Prosecco wine for breakfast. There are not enough tables on the street for breakfast, because a large space is occupied by water next to the restaurant. There is no menu in Russian anywhere in the restaurants. But the hotel is working on it. In the evenings, the main Kitchen restaurant operates as an ala-kart restaurant. A dress code is not required. The Fire Restaurant serves a variety of meat dishes. I liked the Black Angus meat, I recommend it. The waiters here are also very welcoming and friendly. I would like to note this once again. The friendliness of the staff is top five everywhere. The hand of management is felt. In the Kitchen restaurant, we were served by a beautiful girl Dilya (Dilya). It was very nice that she remembered the dishes we ordered, and each time she greeted us as close friends. Thank you to her for the excellent service. There is a girl named Rabia (Cacun) in the same restaurant(Rabia Kakun) from Bangladesh, a fruit slicer with a beautiful smile. She's very sweet and positive. Thanks a lot to her for the fast service, too. Mark, a positive and friendly guy from the Philippines, works at the Wet Deck bar, and we talked to him all the time. The speed and quality of waiter service in restaurants is beyond praise. All public places on the island have good toilets, clean and constantly cleaned. The Internet in all parts of the island is good and stable, connected via WiFi. There is a reef on the island, all around the island, but it is better to swim on the reef in certain places. The best places for snorkeling are from Arrival Jetty (aircraft landing site) to the Away spa, and from the Away spa to the Fish restaurant Fish. But you have to watch the current, which is constantly changing from the wind. There is a family (we saw five) of small (about 1.5 m) black-finned reef sharks in the area of Wave watersports, which always circle in one place near the shore. In the evening they come to the Fish restaurant. You should not be afraid of them, they themselves are afraid of you, and when they meet you, they immediately float away. There are four turtles living near the island between the Spa and the Fish restaurant, three small ones, one of them is very shy, the others are not, and there is just a huge, very popular one named Bob. She is not afraid of swimmers, phlegmatically eating corals. We sailed with her a few times, it was an amazing adventure. Once I swam with a huge stingray that lives near a water fork, it is absolutely not afraid of people and calmly endured my campaign, burrowing into the sand. The passages through the coral are marked by pairs of orange buoys. Use them for comfortable reef swimming. You can get fins for free at the Down Under Aquatic Center. Masks and tubes, as individual means, are better to bring with you. I recommend taking AquaLung fins at the hotel, they are soft and comfortable. For those who don't snorkel in the Maldives, I think it will be boring. Go snorkeling and discover the beautiful underwater world of the Maldives. The hotel has an oceanfront Away spa, 4 massage rooms for 8 people. Masseuses do a good massage professionally, I recommend it. Get a good relaxation. The cost starts from $ 290 per person. In the evening and at night, the paths to the water villas are well and beautifully illuminated. A good feature of the hotel is that there are hidden speakers along the paths to the water villas and pleasant music is playing. On Fridays, a meeting with the hotel management and free cocktails. There are free cocktails at the Sip Bar on Tuesdays. On Wednesday afternoons at the Wet Deck bar you can try your hand at painting on coconuts. You can take this nice souvenir with you later and bring it home. Well, the weather in the Maldives, as always, is unpredictable. It can be hot during the day, heavy rain at night. Sun in the morning, rain in the afternoon. Sunshine in the afternoon, rain in the evening. Umbrellas are available at every step of the hotel. Buggies are protected by a film in the rain, and it's great, no one gets wet. Overall, our vacation was a success. The hotel left a very good impression. I want to return to the Maldives. Maldives is a paradise on earth. Whether to choose this hotel for yourself or not, the decision will always be yours. Have a good trip and new experiences!
