There are huge gates, you can climb them, then walk further along the remains of the wall to the observation deck, and from there to the mills. If you like ruins and hiking, I advise you to visit.

It's a beautiful place, you can feel the spirit of history, you can climb the ruins, which offer stunning views, and it's worth a visit. It's better to take a taxi, it's a long way on foot, especially if it's hot.

Unfortunately, there is little left of the gates of Mindos and it is not possible to imagine what they looked like in their original form. Only the bases of the gates have been preserved. There are several ruins of ancient structures around, but the further away from the gates themselves, the more unsightly they look - some overgrown and with piles of garbage.
