One of the places that I definitely recommend to visit is in Sukhumi. Sit in the courtyard of an old mansion with homemade sweets and a cup of coffee, take a photo in the Art Nouveau style, feel the atmosphere of the country house of the early 20th century. This is not a cafe, but a family story that continues today thanks to the creative and inspired owners Valentin and Dasha. And, of course, their beautiful young assistants: Arseny and Polina, who meet the guests and bring your order to the table.

A must have that is worth visiting when traveling to Sukhum. Very helpful and pleasant owners! It's a very beautiful space and music, it feels like you're in a Disney fairy tale. We played with kittens, had tea with desserts at sunset. We rested and relaxed our souls. We will definitely come back again!

To be honest, we came here rather to see the villa, drink tea and coffee. There was no bet on food. But how wrong we were! The guys cook great. we had pancakes and bruschetta and it was very tasty. I was also particularly pleased with the availability of homemade sorbets without sugar and honey - I'm not a fan of sweets, so I especially appreciate such desserts. And of course, the atmosphere and the presentation - no comments. The love of one's place and business is felt in every detail, and, of course, is transmitted to the guests.

The opening of the summer cafe at the foot of Villa Dahl has become a real gift for connoisseurs of all the wonderful things that the mansion and its wonderful owners keep in themselves. We've been on a guided tour of the villa a couple of times and always wanted to come back again. Such a special pleasant aftertaste remained after visiting the villa every time. And now you can always come back and drink delicious coffee, crunch delicate light waffles or treat yourself to an incomparable charlotte with ice cream and almond petals, which Daria lovingly prepares. We were at a cafe with my family and we really, really enjoyed it. Beautiful dishes and appliances, beautiful food, the interior in the color and style of the villa itself, light pleasant music, sea views, lush greenery around and birds singing incessantly made our visit to the cafe even more wonderful! We will definitely come back here again and we sincerely advise everyone!!! Good luck and prosperity to you, wonderful family ❤

Villa Dahl is an old house with a history and an atmosphere like from the TV series "Darrells", where the big, big family of Valentin and Daria opened a cafe with home cooking this spring. while I was in Sukhumi for a couple of days, I came several times. The atmosphere is just magical: you look at the sea, you listen to pleasant music, and there are some special conversations going on here. I'll definitely come back when I get back, but for now I recommend the cafe to all my friends and family) Prosperity! 🌸

28.08.2025. We went to a cafe going down the mountain. I really liked it, everything is homemade, the desserts are just a fairy tale. A very pleasant, unusual atmosphere. For connoisseurs of antiquity and authentic surroundings, I recommend visiting the toilet. In general, the owners are trying very hard, it's obvious. We tried Pavlova and dessert in an orange (alas, I don't remember the name). I liked everything, including the serving, the exquisite dishes, the creamer and the coffee cups. Yes, not so close to the center, but also not so far away. I recommend visiting at least once, get a pleasant experience.

My favorite place and my favorite cafe in Sukhumi. An old villa, sea view, you feel like you're both in the city center, in the most aristocratic area, and outside the city in nature. Caring hosts. An opportunity to look inside the villa with a guided tour conducted by the owners themselves and tell about the history of the house and its restoration. And the kitchen is something magical. You just find yourself in another world in this place. An atmosphere of love, care, and beauty. This is the only establishment on Sukhumi Mountain. And before or after visiting it, you can wander through the streets of Old Sukhum, as well as admire the city from the Observation Colonnade, which is right next to the cafe.

A fabulous Art Nouveau house. Before the revolution, it belonged to an engineer named Dahl. Now the house has been bought by a family that is carefully restoring it bit by bit. They also opened a cafe - delicious and creative! Guided tea parties are held there several times a week - I highly recommend it! By the way: those who participate in the tea party can see the house from the inside! Believe me: It's worth it!

A tiny, six-table family coffee shop with stunning views of the ancient mansion, the sweetest hosts, the most delicate eclairs and divine music. Vintage tables and vases with desserts stand under a sprawling, blooming, fragrant acacia tree. It serves freshly brewed coffee and homemade lemonade, ice cream and pastries, bruschetta and fragrant tea. Everything is prepared by the owners. The floor of the terrace is strewn with azaleas, and the lacy shadow of the trees dances on the tables, hands, and faces of the guests. The strange trees on Sukhumi Mountain rustle and birds chirp and the wind mixes the smells of the South: the sea, flowers, coffee, happiness.
