A beautiful monument, we listened to interesting stories about the mill. The guide Daria is an excellent storyteller. We went upstairs and touched the antiquity. We also visited the miller's house, located near the mill. Here you can get acquainted with the life of the miller's family, as well as buy souvenirs.

The windmill is located next to the Dudutki center of ancient folk crafts and is part of the entire museum complex. We took the bus as part of a group. The tour included a visit to the mill's caretaker's house with a snack tasting and an overview of the exterior and interior of the Windmill. It was built in 1903-1905 by the brothers Malakh and Ivan Polyakov in the village of Berezovka, Gomel region. It belongs to tent-type (Dutch) structures, 5-tiered. The height of the mill is 14 meters. It worked until the early 70s of the XX century, then it was in an abandoned state and gradually collapsed. In June 1992, the mill was moved to the Dudutki Museum and restored by a team of carpenters. The mill is stationary, along with the wings, only its upper part turns, which is called the "cap". I liked how the space was arranged and the unique object was restored. Thank you for the interesting tour, the opportunity to experience everyday life and get to know the local culture and traditions.
