The promenade/promenade along the Bosphorus on the Asian side of Istanbul starts from the Uskudar ferry pier (near the metro stations of the same name M5 and Marmaray B1) and ends at the Harem marina (yes, ferries also run from Harem). Closer to Harem, opposite is the Maiden Tower. But besides the Maiden Tower, there is a beautiful view of the Bosphorus fairway, the European and Byzantine parts of Istanbul and the Golden Horn Bay. Further (beyond Harem) is also interesting, but you will have to go uphill and the distances will already be longer (and in this case you need to start from Kadikoy, finishing at Uskudar. It's a great route for a first acquaintance. The boardwalk is quite clean, benches, urns, merchants of simit (20 lire simit (bagel with sesame seeds) and 20 lire water = 40 lire and you quenched your thirst and had a snack), mussels and chestnuts, quite a lot of flower sellers offering to buy a rose at the price of a cast-iron bridge (young people with girls - you are the target audience of these merchants, they stick around like gypsies, in such cases it is customary to give one rose).
