This cafe is called "Smile of the Past," and its cuisine is delicious and homemade. I already appreciated this cafe when I came in October. And, of course, after a hike through the Botanical Garden (we walked from Cape Verde to Chakvi, then went for a swim) I brought my daughter and grandchildren here. They also liked the cuisine and the real, uncomplicated Georgian hospitality so much that we came here three more times on purpose. We were late in the evening three times (from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.), and we were alone at that time. And once we arrived at half past four, and there was a full landing. The cafe is very small, with only five tables for four. And there are so many tempting things on the menu. The menu is illustrated and in three languages (Georgian, English, Russian). We've tried too many things to list. Of the first courses, I liked borscht (7-10 lari). They also cook incredibly delicious trout here. The most delicious trout, and even the cheapest, costs 15 lari, which is significantly less than in other establishments we visited. In addition, only here the price of trout includes a side dish (extremely tasty boiled new potatoes). The grandchildren fell in love with khinkali from the first bite, huge, juicy, at 1.5 lari apiece. Khachapuri in Megrelian for 15 lari (never seen cheaper anywhere) from the heat of the moment, just delicious. Very tasty homemade compotes. Every meal is a gastronomic magic that is combined with very pleasant prices. Each of the dinners here cost our family of four good eaters from GEL 100 to GEL 110 (in Batumi, on the Green Cape, Poti, the same set of dishes was twice as expensive). The staff was very friendly, everyone speaks excellent Russian, recognized us, and welcomed us as the most expensive guests. In our family ranking, it definitely took the first place for two weeks of stay in Adjara.

Great place!! We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food at the roadside cafe! 2 kebabs, a huge khachapuri in Adjarian style and delicious 50 GEL coffee. They also gave us chocolate for coffee, which we didn't order :) Nice, delicious! The hospitable hosts, husband and wife, served us like family! The interior, of course, is not for the faint of heart, but it has its own charm :)

Beef soup, khinkali, pizza, meat are very tasty I didn't like the chicken and eggplant rolls. We ate 75 bins for three people, A normal cafe with adequate prices, come by and you won't regret it
