The reviews are of course contradictory, but I liked the place, since it was impossible to export honey through Sukhum airport, especially in barrels, we bought a small barrel in the hotel room to taste (acacia). Delicious honey. Honey kvass was a gift to us. I also bought bee's milk, I want to believe that it is useful, as it was advertised to us, I took it out of Abkhazia in the luggage compartment. Many people didn't buy, they weren't sure what they would miss, so I took a chance. The apiary is beautiful, although bees fly, they don't touch, but I don't like animals. Take a couple of photos and run to the car :)

We brought them to this apiary with an organized guided tour. The honey tasting is accompanied by a beekeeper's story, surprisingly competently. It is clear that the goal is to make money, but it is done very tactfully. Beekeeping products are not imposed, but recommended and advice is given on how to choose a quality product. Ordinary honey is high-quality and delicious, but I will find a similar one in the middle zone. (The guide confirmed this.) Personally, I was interested in Alpine honey, its peculiar taste, there is no such thing in the middle zone. Everything is packed in branded pots. Such a gift looks solid, it's not a shame to give it. They do not require separate money for beautiful packaging. A not entirely pleasant surprise was associated with "kvass": we arrived at the hotel, left it in a bag, and he continued to wander and in the morning one bottle swelled and the other leaked. On the other hand, they seemed to warn that he would continue to wander, perhaps we should focus on this. The wine on honey wasn't very impressive, but it's still delicious. (traditionally, there was no change for Abkhazia, and instead of money, they offered an additional choice of wine or honey, however, they gave both, they were not greedy). In terms of money: prices are quite reasonable. Honey costs a lot here.
