Some of the internal processes at Tegen look like the store has not yet decided between a modern supermarket and an outdated service system.: 1) Scales are placed in the trading floor and PLU-codes are indicated in large numbers, which is logically perceived as an opportunity to independently weigh the goods. However, in practice, an employee approaches, checks the already weighed vegetables and clarifies (not always correctly) whether the code is correct. A logical question arises: if the buyer doesn't trust this process anyway, then why are the scales located in the hall? Install them at the checkout as the Havas supermarket did, or do not interfere with weighing the goods to the customer yourself, as Korzinka does. 2) Vegetables, such as carrots, are packed in tightly tied bags of 1-2 kg. Moisture forms inside, the product loses its freshness faster, and if you need a smaller amount, you have to open the package and transfer the goods yourself. 3) Separately, the situation is surprising when the product is already in the refrigerated display case, but at the checkout it turns out that it cannot be broken through because it is not entered into the system. In my case, it was the lemonade that had to be left at the checkout. 4) A refrigerated display case (specifically with beer), in which drinks stay warm, looks more like a decorative element than a working part of the trading process. Specifically for beer: for example, the APA brand runs out pretty quickly, while the rest does not, it is more logical to supply APA to the showcase in a larger volume than other alcohol. 5) When paying with a card, I would also like to see a more relaxed attitude towards the buyer's desire to enter the PIN code on their own, this is a common security measure, not a whim. The terminal is on a short wire and inconveniently located for the buyer to independently enter the pin code. This is beyond logic. At the same time, prices in the store are often higher than in Korzinka. At a higher price, we would like to see a more modernly organized service, without unnecessary chaos, customer control and fuss. It is clear that Tegen is trying to develop: it has its own application, a modern store format, and a wide range of products. However, the internal processes are not fully established, which discourages visits.
