Taom: between chinara, moshurda and green philosophy In the heart of Tashkent, where life boils like samsa at the morning bazaar, there is a corner that looks like it came off a postcard: the Taom restaurant. Nearby is the intercontinental, and Taom itself hides under the shadow of a plane tree, like a grandfather with tea on an iPhone, watching the bustle of the city. Arbors made of wood, light wind, chirping birds — not a restaurant, but a Mahalla fairy tale with Wi-fi. The first thing is moshurda. Ah, the mosh-khurda... the way they cook at family dinners in Namangan: rich, with character, and flavor — as if grandma whispered the recipe directly to the cook. Only the portion is... well, modest. Apparently, so that you don't overeat, but think about the spiritual. Perhaps it was the first yoga course, but it was gastronomic. Then the green saga. We entrusted the selection of salads to the waiter, and he turned out to be, apparently, the son of an agronomist and a philosopher. Instead of meat, there is a whole textbook of botany: cilantro, dill, arugula, mint, even leaves, which may have been part of the landscaping of Tashkent. Meat? Apparently, she took a vacation and went to Bukhara for a retreat. But honestly, it's delicious. So much so that they began to suspect: maybe the greenery has its own school of wisdom. And then there were little samsushki — like jokes at the beginning of the podcast: They are light, hot, and have an appetite for life. The dough is crispy, the filling is such that you want to know her biography. They weren't just delicious—they were like greetings from a grandmother who always says, "Here you go, you look like a politician on a diet." And then vaguria came to the table. And here is the meat that returned from a spiritual vacation in Bukhara — juicy, soft, and so fragrant that one could write an ode to Uzbek barbecue philosophy. It comes with French fries. Crispy, as it should be. Nothing superfluous, just a taste that knows its place. 🌳 The atmosphere? Gazebos are like houses in a village: wooden, warm, as if they embraced you. People are talking slowly, somewhere in the distance someone is laughing, and you are no longer in the city center, but somewhere at the intersection between Charvak and Shakhrisabz, eating zen with sauce. "Taom" is a place where you can sit, philosophize, eat grass, samsa, wagyu and fries — and... be happy. Even the waiter, with a slight smile, seemed to say, "You don't need meat, you need harmony. Well, here's that samsa, just in case."

Every time I visit Tashkent, I definitely visit this restaurant, the food there is very tasty and the service is very good! Friends, it's clean and tidy in front of you after your order!)) That's why you can wait a little bit!!! Enjoy your meal and highly recommend it for sure!!!))

The service is lame, we waited more than an hour for our order, the portions are small, the price is high, the taste is basically normal. If there were no problems with service and pick-up time, in principle, I could go every six months.
