A gorgeous family tea plantation. Well done for saving the business of your father/grandfather, who devoted several decades of his life to tea. Very tasty tea is produced here. There is a tasting, a guided tour of the plantation, production. There are black, green and blueberry wild teas on sale. Wine, tea chocolate, butter, etc. Were with the children, everyone really liked it. It is located in the mountains at an altitude of about 1,700 meters, even on a hot day, it is easy to breathe, although it was already late in the evening.

It's a great place. After visiting Mount GomisMta, we decided to warm up with hot tea. We found this tea plantation on Tripadviser. During the 4 days of traveling in Georgia, this is the only place where we were warmly welcomed. We tasted cognac tea, black, green and blueberry tea, dried fruits and tea oils. The taste is beyond praise. They also bought a lot of souvenirs for a small price.

We tried good Georgian tea and really wanted to visit the tea plantation. We saw an advertisement for TABA near the arboretum park. We called and agreed that we would come. We saw how tea grows live, found out how, when and which leaves should be harvested. Then we had a tea tasting. The assortment includes black, green and blueberry tea. The children really liked blueberry. After the tasting, you can buy teas and other products. There is tea tree oil, tea chocolate and even tea cognac.

The place is very pleasant and atmospheric. The tour allowed us to trace the entire cycle of tea production: from its growth to proper preparation. It was very interesting to participate in the collection of tea leaves on a huge plantation, and then see how they are processed at the factory. I was very impressed by Alexander's careful attitude to tea culture and its production. We took with us only pleasant impressions from communication and a large number of gifts to friends and family))

A wonderful place to come to broaden your horizons or just to chat with Alex, the owner of a tea plantation, a very pleasant and intellectually developed person! I wish you prosperity and business development, only interesting and grateful visitors! Your friend from Russia! The tour costs 60 GEL per person, you will not be left without gifts;) at the end of the tour, you can buy a little tea, or you can have more. Communication is possible in both Russian and English - you can practice.

A wonderful tea plantation and a wonderful, very kind host. He spoke in detail about tea that grows on plantations, and showed the process of its manufacture from the plant to the packaging. You can even try yourself as a tea leaf picker. After the gathering, you will have a tasting and tea ceremony. Three types of tea were presented at the tasting — they all turned out to be incredibly delicious, and they couldn't resist buying a couple of tea packs with them. Thank you so much for having a great time!

When we were relaxing on the beach in Ureki, we decided to end the day with a trip to tea plantations. We couldn't get through, so we were worried that we might not be accepted, but the wonderful host postponed all his business to conduct an excursion for the two of us: to show the plantation, production and introduce his teas. It was incredibly beautiful at sunset! The teas themselves are very tasty, but I also really liked the blueberry wine! I even felt a little sorry that we didn't drink (I persuaded myself to just try). I recommend it to everyone! It's great to discover Georgia from the tea side as well.

I really love small family-owned factories where people put their love and soul into the product. This place is exactly like that. I definitely recommend it to everyone! They showed us a tea plantation, told us what kind of leaves they collect, showed us how tea blooms, what its seeds look like After that, we conducted a tour of the production itself, explaining the whole process step by step. And then there was a tea tasting. I think it's a whole tea ceremony. Alex, whose family has been growing tea for more than 90 years, will tell you about the features of each tea, tell you how to brew it correctly. A separate advantage for me was that the tour is conducted only for your company, without recruiting a large group. This is a wonderful place, very cozy, beautiful, interesting and filled with love.

We spent the summer in this wonderful place. We tasted tea, it was delicious, the ceremony was accompanied by a story about tea, everything was told very atmospheric and with love for their work! We bought tea: black, green and blueberry. Now it's over with us and we wanted to come back again, which we will certainly do! See you later, Taba!

We have long wanted to visit a Georgian tea plantation, and now we have realized our dream. I strongly advise anyone who comes or lives in Georgia to visit this place. Incredibly beautiful views, a pleasant guided tour of the plantations, and you will also be shown the factory itself (family owned)! At the end, a pleasant bonus awaits you as a tasting of tea and other products. Many thanks to the hosts, very pleasant and helpful people. Alex big respect !

A great place to get acquainted with the tea culture of Georgia. There is a plantation where you can see how tea grows and how it is harvested. Three minutes from the plantation there is a factory with all the necessary equipment for tea processing. It's very convenient when everyone is around. Taba also has an interesting photo zone where you can take photos in special straw hats. I thought the girls and I wouldn't leave there-it's a thrill. Every corner is very picturesque. I also really liked the tasting. There is such a beautiful meditative view from the room.. in general, you don't just taste tea, but you learn the philosophy of tea, being filled with something new. I recommend it to everyone

We had a great time visiting the tea garden and factory. The place is amazing with a tea garden and mountain views! Alex explained to us the process of growing and making tea. Alex accepted our spontaneous request to visit on the same day, picked us up when we got lost in the village of Ozurgeti, helped us order a taxi back and even gave us tea seeds so that we could try to grow tea at home! Thank you, Alex!

We were at the plantation in June. We were completely delighted. I liked everything - an interesting story about tea making, a walk around the plantation, and a visit to the premises where tea is made and packaged. Then there was a tasting in a cozy living room with a view of the plantation. We tried different teas, bought several packs, and were given a fragrant soap as a gift, which is also made there. We were with the children, they were also interested and not bored. Come, I'm sure you'll like it very much too.

I recently had a chance to taste tea from the Taba tea plantation and it impressed me with its high quality. Black tea has a rich, bright taste. It is soft, while the depth of taste is fully manifested. It is ideal for both morning and evening tea drinking. Green tea is fresh and invigorating. It is suitable for any time of the day when you want a refreshing drink. Premium quality and authenticity are palpable in both varieties, and I highly recommend them to tea lovers.

Hello everyone! 1. In July 2024, we rested in Gonio (a village near Batumi) and in the second half of the vacation we wanted to visit something interesting, not far from Batumi. As usual, I Google all the interesting places on Google maps (I mostly use Yandex maps by place of residence if I need to find something) and then quite by chance I found an interesting place for myself in neighboring Guria (Ozurgeti city) - the neighboring province of Adjara. The place is the Taba tea plantation, or to be more precise, an excursion to this plantation. In short, I absolutely recommend both the excursion itself with the owner of the plantation, and the city of Ozurgeti itself. To be honest, we didn't even want to leave Ozurgeti for Batumi. Next time, only to non-tourist places in Georgia. 2. On the tour, we learned a lot about the cultivation and production of tea. For example, it turns out that green or black tea is made from the same variety. That tea in Turkey was brought from Georgia, i.e. initially tea was produced in Georgia, and then the Turks brought it and began to produce it in Turkey. 3. Very beautiful place: views, plantation. house. 4. Separately, a tea tasting with the host Alexander is very interesting. For me, probably the most interesting thing was communicating with the owner. It is very rare to meet and communicate with thinking people. 5. Ideally, if you come there by your own or rented car, but also by minibus from Batumi (as we did), it is also a working option. And finally, stop by the Pirosmani restaurant after the tour (it is located next to the railway station). In general, I boldly recommend this place
