The Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, designed by architect Balthazar Longen, is a magnificent cathedral! Perhaps one of the most beautiful in Venice. It was created in the middle of the 17th century in honor of the Holy Virgin Mary, who helped local residents overcome the plague epidemic, and to this day the cathedral makes an amazing impression!

a magnificent temple in a magnificent location - it's very difficult to come up with a better location than on this cape jutting out into the bay. As well as getting here on foot is not as fast and easy as it seems when you look at it from the Doge's Palace. It's just a pity that it's already closed early in the evening.
