I had the worst experience with Sixt among all Armenian rentals. First of all, they completely disregarded the booking options including permit for crossing the border and additional driver and we had to delay the trip start for a few hours. The car (7 seat SUV) had problems with transmission, winter tires, parking camera was blurry to the point it couldn't be used and the stuff couldn't answer most technical questions. I got a small dent in the front bumper and they asked ~250$ fee for the damage although the stuff didn't even notice in until I've explicitly shown them. This is some fraud-level prices given the fact the car was returned 1.5 days before the deadline, the car and especially the front bumper were in heavily used condition.

Arguably the best car rental in the city, all things considered. Not the cheapest, but with reasonable prices (a bit greedy on the extras, though), with convenient user interface. Could use round-the-clock pick-up and return in downtown.

We rented a brand-new Geely with a mileage of 3 thousand. It's better to book online, because if you go offline, like we did at first, you may encounter an evil chubby guy and he will try to sell something more expensive) We paid with the Mir Tinkoff card, the deposit was frozen on it too. The deposit was unfrozen 2 days after the car was returned. We took it from the office in the North, gave it back at the airport, very convenient. The rest of the staff are all polite, pleasant and there were no problems.

I took a car here (Nissan Sunny) for a trip with friends to Sevan. I chose the office but the recommendations of my friends. Everything went perfectly! The condition of the car is excellent, all the rules are clearly and clearly explained, no extra money was asked. 5 minutes after I left, they called and said that I had left an extra 20 thousand drams (my inattention) and so that I would not forget to pick them up — very nice 😀 There were no problems with the refund of the deposit (50 thousand drams). Everything is clear! I rented a Nissan qashqai for two days and it cost 17,000 rubles. It's more expensive than others, but I'm used to using it. The deposit of 200,000 AMD was returned after 2 days! You don't need to wash the car, you give it what it is, the only thing is to fill the tank completely if you took a full one!

We rented a car for one day to take a ride with our family to the sights closest to Yerevan (Garni, Geghard, Symphony of stones, Sevan). Since I realized in less than a week, and even before the holidays, I called different offices, but they did not have cars for the right date. I called this one, a woman on the phone explained the terms of the lease in Russian and offered various options, there was either a more expensive car (nissan altima) or a Ford focus, but cheaper. We didn't care about the class of the car, so we settled on the Ford focus on the machine. Of the pleasant moments during the rental, I will also highlight that I booked the car directly by phone, without transferring any money in advance and without going anywhere. I paid the money on the spot, at the time of receiving the car. The rental price was plus or minus the same as in other places, but more expensive than in the cheapest ones. At the same time, we got a fairly fresh Ford focus, the mileage was 70 thousand km, there were no problems with the car, it drove well. The car was received with a full tank and had to be returned with a full tank, otherwise it would have been necessary to pay 1000 drams per liter of missing gasoline (at the gas station before handing over the car, 95 gasoline was filled at 380 drams per liter). I took the car just in case with a hard hat, but it was possible to take it simply, without insurance (well, more precisely with CTP, you do not need to pay extra for it, unlike a hard hat). The office is located right in the center of Yerevan, on northern avenue, a small corner in the lobby of the hotel, cars are stored in a closed parking lot, you will need to return it there at the time of delivery. Although the car was rented for one full day, but we needed it only from morning to evening, until it got dark. We took the car at 10 a.m. and returned it closer to 7 p.m. (after 7 they do not work and you will not be able to hand over the car until the next morning, well, or you can, but with some kind of surcharge). When accepting a car, you need to leave a deposit, in our case the deposit was 100k drams, the deposit is higher for higher-class cars, plus it seems if the driving experience is below 3 years, then the deposit is also higher (but this is not accurate, I did not delve into the nuances, since my experience is much higher). The man who issued the car marked all the joints on the body on a special form and gave it for signature. When handing the car back, the man ran through the body again, glancing at the car for any new problems. Since we returned the car in the same form in which we accepted it, there were no problems, the deposit was returned in full. If you are a Russian citizen, then you need a passport and license to rent, photocopies will not work. To sum up, it was the first time I rented a car in my life, plus I was not in Russia, but I was satisfied. Positive: Excellent service, booked a car by phone, while explaining all the nuances, upon receipt they also explained everything what to do and in what situations. There were no problems with the car, the car was fresh, the car was not tinted, nothing prevented the passengers from enjoying the views of the mountains during the trip. Minuses: Not the cheapest rental.

When booking on the website, I did not find any restrictions on driving experience, but at the reception the administrator said that you need to pay 5k drams and the deposit increases to $ 1,000, which you need to leave in drams. I reissued it to a friend with experience, the money was never returned to the card (5 days have passed). The car itself is in satisfactory condition, hits the steering wheel. When we returned the car after the inspection, some guy whispered something in the administrator's ear and they tried to separate us for a scratch under the bumper, which usually form when hitting the curb. The car was a geely coolray, in good condition, and I drove 500 km through the beauty of Armenia during the rental.
