Hello! I stayed at this mini-hotel "Simona" located at 51 (A) Gochua St., Pitsunda, in mid-August 2025. The impressions are not clear, there are pros and cons. Of the Cons: 1. There is no reception (manager) - for the first time I come across this, that the institution does not have any manager, security, owner, i.e. here all the doors are open day and night, come in, take it, take it out, no one will say a word, the residents still do not see each other because there is no A common gathering point is like a kitchen, a bathroom, a common playground. The hostess, named Asida Sim, appears at the hotel at best once every two days for an hour or two, mostly she is only on the phone, but in the afternoon a cleaner named Lyuba comes, tries to clean, change the linen on request, or prepare the room for check-in, I did not notice every day or every other day, but we met in the afternoon at the hotel. 2. Old renovation: The laminate is already cracked-it has parted. The furniture is old, the sofa mattresses are burnt out (they creak very much, the springs stick out), it's absolutely impossible to sleep. Bathroom-toilet, tile stroke, curtain, sink (I didn't take a picture, the photo with the sink can be zoomed in, it's visible). The entrance and interior doors are wooden, sagged, you need to make an effort when opening and closing, all this is accompanied by a ringing whistle and a bang, i.e. when the neighbors come, you will definitely hear about it, including the 2nd floor. 3. Noise insulation: There is no threshold on the entrance door to the room, the gap is about 2-3 cm. The walls are thin, and everything is audible, both on top and behind the wall. 4. There is no common playground, kitchen, or shared territory. 5. Humidity: both the room and the corridor have high humidity, which causes a musty smell, the air conditioner helped in the room, they left it for a day, it faded away. So that the smell does not immediately catch the eye, the hostess burns incense throughout the hotel upon arrival to kill the smell of mustiness and dampness. 6. Far from the central beach, about 30 minutes at a brisk pace, through the grove is shorter, but not everyone knows the paths, entrances and exits. 7. The entrance to the hotel passes through the pedestrian road to the beach, because there is a large flow of people both day and night, a lot of garbage, bottles, are not carried to the trash can, there is no urn near the hotel and near the store, and there is no common tank in the hotel itself-the garbage was stored right in the hotel corridor, but His mom was cleaning it, or someone was cleaning it instead of Luba. Of the advantages: 1. Excellent location of the hotel – about 150 m. to the beach through a pine grove. 2. There is a grocery store No. 10 in the same building, which has everything you need: groceries, alcohol, a filling machine, inflatable swimming accessories. 3. There are points of sale of tour trips in Abkhazia near the hotel. 4. The city market is about a 30-minute walk from the hotel. 5. The hotel building is adjacent to a pine grove, which is definitely a plus. 6. The room has everything you need: kettle, hairdryer, soap accessories, disposable slippers, glasses, appliances, TV, refrigerator, air conditioning. Shared microwave, ironing board and iron. 6. The hostess, Asida, is adequate, Lyuba is strange, peculiar, but also kind of, although we didn't demand much: change the linen, towels, clean up. To summarize the above: there is definitely NO desire to return to this hotel, I cannot say that I recommend the Simona mini-hotel. (I have been to many places in Abkhazia myself, there is something to compare it with, the experience is great) although the rest of the reviews here about the hotel are good, the rating is high, it is not entirely clear by what criteria they were evaluated, but everyone's business. I give three stars with a stretch only because of the Pine grove and walking distance to the beach. Only you can draw conclusions. Good luck!

A small hotel! With a great location, great room furnishing idea! There is everything in the room: towels and slippers and soap accessories, a kettle, Mugs, forks and small spoons of 2 pcs. The idea of the hotel and the room is excellent, But the implementation is not successful! The receptionist , she's the cleaning lady granny God's dandelion , who doesn't solve anything , was asked to clean the air conditioner , which was in mold !!! They told the receptionist , she told them to call the hostess . I wrote to the hostess, she said we'll decide, and you know what we decided - they sewed it on, wiped off the mold, but it remained on the blades inside. I'm attaching a photo. No cleaning 2 times I asked for a mop with a bucket, they gave me, I washed the floor on my own, (I thought she would say leave the key, I'll wash, but they didn't do the cleaning once) we were from 11-19.08, the bed linen and towel were never changed!!! There is no receptionist at the reception because she is also a cleaner. And washes and irons. I wanted to ask for a change of underwear on the fifth day. On Friday, I couldn't find the receptionist on the spot and she wasn 't there at the weekend. On Monday, she showed up at all, but on Tuesday she didn't ask us to move out and change our underwear . The floors in the hotel corridors and stairs to the second floor are always dusty. Balconies are one name, I don't even know how wide they are, but the doors don't open completely. It 's cramped for two , they go out into the bushes . The bed linen is normal, the pillows are all stained yellow. Mold in the shower seams, mold on the shower curtain. It's the little things, nature and the sea in Pitsunda are beautiful, and my vacation didn't spoil it. I am attaching a photo. But they didn't turn on the air conditioner. I didn't want to breathe mold. The hotel does not have its own parking yard or playground. The toilet did not draw water, in order to draw it, it was necessary to fill the lid somehow, the administrator showed her husband how to do it.
