Amazing views! It is better to arrive early in the morning at dawn so that there are no people It is also better to come with an individual tour of 2-4 people, rather than on one bus with a large group. The ascent takes 45 minutes at a walking pace, the views below are among the old foundations like machupicchu, you can find monitor lizards, crocodiles. The monkeys are right on their way up. It's a beautiful place. The climb is not difficult, you can go with a guide, you can go on your own. I preferred the second option, I walked at my own pace, and all the information can be read on the Internet. The views are certainly beautiful. Lots of ladders))) Lots of people and monkeys. A beautiful place, some of the buildings and ancient frescoes have been preserved, but how Sigiriya looked before can only be imagined. The frescoes represent semi-naked women, who are forbidden to be photographed :), and special staff are vigilant about observing this rule. Be prepared for a steep climb in the heat, take plenty of water. There were water tanks in the middle of the way, but there may be queues.
