We stayed at this hotel in Baku twice. What I liked: the location couldn't be better. In the oldest town, you can walk to almost all the main attractions. if you take a taxi, ask for a ride to the Icherisheher metro station, from there you will need to walk 7-10 minutes to the hotel and there will be no stairs. The staff is very pleasant, polite and helpful. almost everyone speaks at least a little Russian. Breakfast is a decent buffet, omelets and scrambled eggs are made. The restaurant is really panoramic, the views are gorgeous. What you need to know: of course, this hotel has never been a 5*, objectively it is more of a category of an old boutique hotel, something in the area 3+* - 4* There is nothing critical in this, realizing that it is located in an old building, with all the consequences that follow from this: not the best sound insulation between the rooms, running water/sewerage, the bathrooms are already in need of renovation. mattresses are not very comfortable. But at the same time, the price they offer is quite affordable even for a budget traveler. And we must pay tribute to the fact that you can ask for a room upgrade at the reception, and if possible, it will be done for free. As a result, there is a + and there is a -. Here everyone decides for himself according to the situation. For myself, + I see more, and next time I'll probably stop there too.

The restaurant is on the top floor with a panoramic view of Baku. The staff is polite, speaks Russian and helps with any questions. The rooms are clean, We took a minivan as a driver, which is available at the hotel, for a trip to Gobustan, and the car is excellent and the driver is super.

I'll start with the pros. Excellent staff and location, there is a private garden on the 3rd floor, we will return to it later. Unfortunately, there are a lot more disadvantages. The room was very tired, the feeling of dirt was with me all the days of my stay. It was very cold and damp, I slept in socks and asked for a second blanket. There is a dog in the garden on the 3rd floor, he is a cutie, but traces of his life (poo) are scattered all over the garden. The shower is leaking, the water temperature is low, and you can't warm up. Perhaps this is a problem for all hotels in the old town, but I can only assume.
