There are plenty of places for walks/ photos. The pool is nice, but not for small children, because it's all deep. The SPA, which they write about in other reviews, did not work))))) Breakfast is a normal buffet. I didn't like it · Away from the city - there is no choice of places to eat. For dinner, they ordered fish for the child, which they did not wait for... each time, the cooking time was postponed by 10-15 minutes. this is probably because there was a celebration in this restaurant and maybe there was no fish or the cook was tired), but otherwise all the other dishes for dinner are normal. But I confirm other reviews - everything was not brought quickly. There is only one Russian-speaking staff member in the hotel/restaurant. The room itself is large. the beds are comfortable. There is no sound insulation on the floors. I can hear people walking from above... even walking through my room, the doors of the old cupboard and sideboard creak disgustingly.

Once upon a time, Chateau Mer was one of our favorite weekend destinations in Georgia. Amazing view of the endless vineyards against the backdrop of the majestic Caucasus Mountains. A morning with a cup of coffee, birdsong and a view of the mountains is priceless. The territory is well-maintained, green, with a relaxation area and the famous swimming pool from which everyone takes pictures of the sunset. Own wine production in Kvevri, each with its own character and history. People gathered for lunch or dinner, there was amazingly delicious Georgian cuisine, they drank wine, played the phono, sang songs by candlelight. There was an atmosphere of a spiritual home. I still remember the taste of this puri with the freshest Imeretian cheese, from which milk flows, tsitsmat with freshly picked vegetables, shkkhmeruli... The smell of roses from the garden and those sunsets accompanied by birdsong. We visited the chateau this year. It's been 11 years. And I couldn't capture those feelings. Either the weather has let us down, or we have aged, or the fleur of intimacy has disappeared. It was as if it had become some ordinary, not very popular hotel. There were no people, the kitchen was average, it was very cold and not very tasty, the territory was not very well maintained. How it was and how it became. Maybe it was just that May was not the season.

Old rooms, high price. The food is not delicious. We waited a very long time. The summer pool is closed. The so-called spa looks like a small polypropylene bowl in a glass greenhouse. A slow examination, only the menu was waited for 10 minutes. This is the first and last visit to this place.
