Perhaps the most picturesque CUSTOMS POINT! I passed through customs by car. Passage of 2 borders (Georgia-Turkey) on the same territory of the complex. It is necessary to disembark passengers in front of the barrier and send them through border control! I do not advise buying Turkish insurance from Georgians, there are Vakif Bank ATMs at the border post where you can withdraw Turkish lira (Russian cards are not accepted - change money in advance). There is a window at the Turkish checkpoint where you can purchase car insurance, which costs 2,000 lira (3,800 rubles) for 45 days, and it costs about 5,000 rubles for Georgian helpers. After passing through the Turkish checkpoint, you can stop at the parking lot and enter the duty free. In Duty Free, you can buy only 1 liter of alcohol (wine, vodka, whiskey) and 2 packs of cigarettes - they will no longer be sold. The time to cross the border to enter the duty-free zone was 20 minutes, and my passengers had 40 minutes, as there were many buses with tourists who wanted to visit Turkey. You can wait for passengers at the parking lot located immediately after the Turkish checkpoint, where you can also buy water and other products at reasonable prices.

I was in June 2025 - everything was fast, the documents and the car were checked. The transfer takes about half an hour at most. Buy insurance in advance, otherwise you may lose an hour while the local showers are arranged at the stalls.
