A beautiful monastery with a well-maintained territory .On the territory of the monastery there is a spring with miraculous clay, which in the old days was considered the only means of treating all dermological diseases. Lots of greenery, flowers, olives. It's a wonderful place. I don't know if I'll ever be in this place again, but I'll leave it in my memory forever.

There are about 500 Orthodox monasteries in Cyprus, but the convent of St. Thekla is one of the most significant revered by Cypriots. To this day, the monastery miraculously preserves the relics of the First Martyr Thekla, a disciple of the Apostle Paul, who suffered in the first century and was revered more than all the holy wives in the ancient Church. Thekla preached God's word and healed people, seeing the meaning of her life in converting pagans to the Orthodox faith and healing people. According to legend, she even managed to lead an influential pagan priest to holy baptism.

It's a wonderful place. Very beautiful. Endless planting of olives and oranges. There are many flowering plants on the territory of the monastery. Good parking right at the entrance to the monastery. The church is very small, but cozy and homely.
