Petrovsky Fortress is one of the fortresses of the Dnieper defensive line. The naval battalion "Fortress of St. Peter" (the official name of the "Petrovsky Fortress") on the Sea of Azov at the mouth of the Berdy River on the site of the current village of Novopetrovka in the Berdyansk district of the Zaporizhia region of Ukraine. It was founded in 1770.
