Level 9 Local Expert

A gorgeous new park where you can walk with children or adults. There are playgrounds, a sandbox, slides. An ideal place for cycling. Beautiful embankment, you can lie on the grass in the shade. Istanbul residents love this place so much that they buy a camper (trailer) and park it in the camper parking lot next to the park all year round and use it as a summer cottage for traveling outside the city. But it is also an ideal place for travelers with campers who want to visit Istanbul. You can park your camper in the parking lot and take the metro to the center of Istanbul. That's exactly what we did. There are also plenty of cafes (McDonald's) and shops (Migros) near the park.

It's a great park. Very big. We were there on Sunday. The whole clearing is occupied by Turkish families. They come for a picnic, fly kites, eat, and play soccer. The park with roses is gorgeous. There are a lot of different roses.

A huge park with a huge number of tourists (on Saturday). There are plenty of benches, plenty of room for everyone. The view of the Princes' Islands is amazing, especially at sunset.
