We arrived very tired, after a night flight with a child, it was 2 hours before check-in, but we were immediately checked into the hotel, which was very cool. Then there was some kind of local accident and the water went out in the room, a car with water arrived 30 minutes later and then there were no water interruptions for all 9 days. We took it with breakfast, the food was quite satisfactory, delicious cheeses, pancakes (I found sesame seeds in the additives - I ate them every day), the view from the restaurant at breakfast is simply amazing. Without a doubt, I, like many people, thought that 4* is super mega cleanliness and so on, but no 4* are certain options that the hotel has. There were various little things that could ruin a vacation, but they all paled in comparison to the care and attention from the hotel staff. This was my daughter's first trip, and thanks to these people, she has many joyful moments. We had 3 reservations at this hotel, because at first we wanted to go for a short time (to cross paths with relatives), and then we decided that since we were dragging a child, we should take our time and took another 1 night before and 4 after the first booking. The first and last reservations are in the most budget rooms, and three days in a very large room with a living room and a kitchenette. The third booking hotel gave us a room with better conditions than we had paid for and with a view of the main street and a bit of the Bosphorus, and room space, it was wonderful! The hotel is comfortable with a child, we walked a lot, went to the Princes' Islands, to the aquarium, and walked to the Sofia Mosque. We were very tired, as the streets are up and down, and of course it's not easy for the child (as for me). We were satisfied with the experience. 5 minutes down Istikli there is a shop next to the Galata tower, next to the metro hotel, within walking distance of the port, bridge, etc.
