The pros are nearby, the cons..... I don't want to offend anyone, but!!!!! I have been sewing and repairing clothes for more than a year, sewing luxury brand items, so I know perfectly well what a high-quality repair should be. I came to visit my daughter in this city, without my own car and tools, so I had to contact a local atelier. The tasks were the simplest: — fix the flyaway detail on the dress and EXTEND the tuck; — redo the straps on the knitted top — the stitches burst there. At the first stage, the old stitch was extended so that a gap and a pile of fabric formed between them. I asked for it to be redone. And that's when the scariest part began. I told the master that you can carefully lay the STITCH FROM THE BEGINNING, Increasing the SOLUTION of the NOTCH by 0.5 cm from the old one, extending it to the desired distance. When I came to pick it up, the master told me, "It's not 0.5 cm, but 2 cm." I looked inside the product and was horrified — the stitches were huge, and the dress was sewn more than 2 cm in two additions! No one asked to change the size. I brought the item for light repairs, but I got a ruined fit. On the top: the straps are stitched with huge stitches, the old burst stitches were not removed — they just put rough fasteners. This is beyond professionalism. I took the dress because it was prom in the morning. But in the end, I didn't wear it—it was hopelessly ruined. The thing is ruined, and so is the mood. AND WHEN SEWING TEXTILES AND KNITWEAR, THE NEEDLES NEED TO BE CHANGED AND NOT SEW EVERYTHING WITH ONE NEEDLE!!! Changing not only the needle, but also its number (thickness) There were holes and puffs on the dress. As a person who makes luxury products, I was shocked by what I saw and the reaction of the master. If you value your belongings and nerves, avoid this atelier.
