The hotel is minus two stars. Dirty bed linen, damaged plumbing, a construction site nearby, and a wild number of touts. It is impossible to go out for a walk, and there is nowhere to go. I added two stars for a veranda with a view of the pyramids for breakfast, and a relatively normal buffet dinner ($15).

The location in the vicinity of the pyramids and the museum is all that is positive. Hot water is cold((the breakfasts are tasteless, the tables are dirty. It's all sad( Only if you spend the night as a transit point.
