We came with children to the competitions. The standard room is a classic Soviet unpretentious version of the sanatorium type. There is not even soap, let alone a hygiene kit. There is no store on the premises, there is nowhere to buy nearby. There is a cooler at the reception. Hair dryer, iron at the reception on request. Restobar - it takes a long time and is expensive to prepare, there is no cash change. There is no alternative within walking distance. The territory is quite large and well maintained. There are outdoor playgrounds and sports grounds, a stadium, and an indoor sports hall. It's great to walk to the Minsk Sea through the forest. The beach is well equipped, with a Playground. We went yachting nearby, great. During the 4 days of stay, no one cleaned or took out the trash. The spa is generally good, with warm water and air. There is a sports pool, Jacuzzi and 2 baths: sauna and hammam. There is no lifeguard. Towels and bathrobes are available for an additional fee. The highlight was the maid's check of the rooms at five!!! Morning!!! That is, she walked along the floor, knocked on the doors, clicked the lock, then did not close, but slammed the doors behind her, leaving, slammed and clicked the lock again, and so on through the floor. Audibility, as if the walls are made of plywood. Bottom line: The kids liked it, I wouldn't repeat it.

This is my first time in Minsk. We stayed with my husband for a week at the Ratomka hotel. The hotel is located in Ratomka district, and Minsk itself. The shops can only be visited by car/taxi and are not within walking distance. The complex has a large stadium with outdoor exercise equipment, a spa complex with a swimming pool and a large gym (+gym). The staff is responsive, always ready to help and answer any question. Our room was located at the end, on the side of the building. Small disadvantages - in order to go to the shower normally and not freeze, you had to turn on the shower and warm the water for 20 minutes. But still, the water did not heat up to hot, it was warm (the air temperature during the day was +13 degrees). When the temperature outside the window dropped, "friends ants" came to our room with a whole large family... The receptionist quickly took action, saying that this happens in cool weather and the maid poured some powder near the front door. But it didn't save the situation...there were a lot of ants, they even managed to crawl onto the made-up bed (at night, apparently, they decided to hide). We had a few days of rest left, so we didn't worry too much) There is a water cooler at the reception desk. Bar-restaurant in the basement. You can't starve to death. The prices are not low, some dishes are for the amateur. We were not pleased with the French breakfast (pictured) with unpeeled, unpalatable sausages and burnt toast, oatmeal milk porridge (it was made from quick-cooking flakes and resembled baby food puree). Belarusian borscht is beyond praise and gorgeous egg dishes cooked in the oven. I'll give you a solid 4, because of some moments the overall impression has slightly deteriorated. But! Next time, I would definitely come again, but having already booked a different room. In general, everything in Ratomka is very clean, cozy and simple. I recommend it for rest and accommodation!
