A pleasant place with a beautiful panorama of the city and the Golden Horn Bay. We got from Sultanahmet by tram T5, went up in 3 minutes by funicular (payment by Istanbul Card for the price of the tram: 42 lira in March), went down on foot through the cemetery to Eyup Sultan Mosque. The prices in the cafe upstairs are too high, but you can just drink tea/coffee.

This is not the place for my first trip to Istanbul, I refused here only for the 4th visit, which I really regret. We still need to look for such an atmospheric and specific location. I'll give you some tips: - go up on foot without a funicular, you will see an interesting cemetery, views of Istanbul and the seals 🤣(the road is not difficult and you will avoid wasting time in the queue) - do not buy into the story about the sunset, the sun sets from the opposite side, it is better to choose the morning 🌄 - be sure to visit the local cafe, it is very affordable and delicious, which was very surprising to me. Take tea, coffee and gozleme 😋
