I spent a lot of effort to cross the border from Tashkent and back to refuel. In fact, the mileage on Kazakh propane turned out to be less than on Uzbek. But... propane costs 2.5 times cheaper in Kazakhstan. Even with my volume of 90 liters, it's not profitable.
