Good day to all. A good hotel for those who are on the road. The truth is on the 3rd floor. It's cozy and peaceful, there's a kettle and a microwave in the lobby. Toilet and shower in the room. There is also a TV, refrigerator, air conditioning. There is a smoking area on the same floor with access to the balcony. Overall, it's not bad. I advise you the price is reasonable.

Polesie is an abandoned hotel in Pripyat, located in the exclusion zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. History: The hotel was built in the mid-1970s for guests and visitors of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. On April 26, 1986, an accident occurred at the nuclear power plant, as a result of which the residents of Pripyat were evacuated. During the liquidation of the consequences of the accident, the hotel building, located in direct line of sight from the nuclear power plant, was used to accommodate the liquidators. In addition, there was a dosimetric post in it, and spotters from its roof were engaged in directing helicopters from the ground. After the end of the active phase of the accident elimination, the building was abandoned. In 2012, there were reports of an intention to demolish the hotel, but these plans were not implemented. As of 2025, the building is still in a dilapidated condition.

From September 19 to October 1, 1985, my friend from Zhytomyr stayed at the hotel, who stopped to visit the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, I write in his opinion: The hotel is in excellent condition, you can see both Pripyat and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. There is a restaurant for the bigwigs on the roof, for the ordinary ones on the ground floor. The neighbors are not noisy. The floors and walls are clean, the beds are made in perfect condition, and the food is great! If I visited the Chernobyl Nuclear power plant, I would also stay here, I recommend it to everyone! 5 stars.
