We had a rest at the Sandy Beach Hotel & For a week at the end of October 2025. It takes more than two hours by bus to get to the hotel from Dubai Airport. The road is a bit tedious, but you can admire the desert, mountains and free roads) The hotel has a green area, an excellent sandy beach with a gentle approach and access to Turtle Island (turtles and other marine life were seen at every swim, which is very encouraging). The hotel also has an incredibly beautiful Infinity heated pool with a bar. There is no animation at all, which made us very happy. The rooms are spacious, with sea or garden views, not new, but clean and comfortable. The food is without frills, but very decent. Everything is fresh, everyone will find a dish to suit their taste. Available in soup, beef stew, chicken, fish, rice, pasta, vegetables, cold vegetable snacks (divine hummus). Fruits - watermelons, melons, juicy oranges. Desserts for an amateur. The breakfasts are European, the pastries are delicious, there is a coffee machine. There are almost no tourists at the hotel from Monday to Thursday, but from Friday to Sunday locals and tourists come for camping. They rent houses, barbecue and slightly dilute the atmosphere of privacy. There are a lot of cats and kittens in the hotel, all terribly cute, affectionate, clean and hungry(((they can't take much food out of the restaurant, and it breaks your heart to look into their begging eyes. There is a small shop on site with swimming accessories, clothes and sweets. It would be great if the hotel administration would add dry cat food to the range of the shop. There is an alcohol market with affordable prices within a five-minute walk from the hotel. If you want a thrill, then you can go to the shopping malls (several grocery stores, food stalls, a pharmacy and local eateries) located near the highway in a 15-minute walk through the bushes and vegetable gardens. The path is strewn with dry branches, stones and debris, in the evening it is necessary to make your way with flashlights. In general, those who like to swim, lie in the sun, relax and spend a "vegetable" vacation, relaxing from the crowds of tourists - definitely go here. We really enjoyed it, we will definitely come back :)

Beautiful beach, clear water, gentle sandy entrance to the sea. I recommend taking a swimming mask with you. There are fish swimming in the coral near the island. Of course, these fish cannot be compared with those that swim in the Red Sea, but there is something to see for snorkelers. It is said that turtles lay eggs on the island. But I didn't see any turtles. Maybe it was just bad luck. I recommend the beach, I was there on December 20th, 2024. The water is warm, clear, and the sea is calm. It was an unforgettable vacation.

There are many different fish near the island, and divers from the Sandy Beach Hotel swim there for snorkeling with masks, as well as boats from other hotels that bring tourists and divers. Near the island, you need to swim in corrals or in flippers, because there are sharp stones and you can cut yourself, and sea urchins can also be very rare among the stones. In December, the water is 24-25C, but it feels warmer than in Sochi in August, but the air there in December is also a maximum of 25-26C, and when there is no sun, it is very uncomfortable to leave the water.
