I visited this park in the middle of October 2025 on one of the weekends. What can I say, the territory of the park is impressive, but apart from us there were almost no people in it. But it is understandable, because inside there is nothing but shops on a large paved area. But it was possible to set up ice cream tents, at least for some entertainment. Then mothers with babies and strollers might have pulled up. There is a museum inside the monument, but the entrance fee is very high. There are almost no signatures to the exhibits and paintings inside. We only have to guess what is depicted, the electronic scoreboards did not work with us either. The view of Dushanbe from above is beautiful, but also somehow everything is not very thoughtful in terms of the convenience of being upstairs. In general, it seems to me that the city administration and the park need to think about making this place more popular with the population.

Or Independence Square, which opened only in 2022 on the Independence Day of Tajikistan. The Istikol Monument is located in the middle of the square. On the first and second floors there is a museum of modern applied art and a gallery. A visit costs 40 somoni. You can go up to the 14th floor and admire the city from above. The observation deck costs 70 somoni.

The area is large, well maintained and generally pleasant. I like that everything looks neat and beautiful. But there is little entertainment, there is no ice cream and other outlets, so there are usually few people there. Also, one of the advantages is that it is convenient to take a shortcut through the square and get home faster))
