How I got to Zhemchuzhina and lost faith in decent service I decided to take a look at the Zhemchuzhina cafe one day - the name and location attracted me. I thought I'd have a rest with friends and have a nice snack. But what happened next made me seriously think about the quality of service in our city. I'll start with the interior. My first impression is that I got into the dining room from the 90s. Dirty tablecloths, shabby chairs, peeling wallpaper in places. It seems that repairs were done here for the last time under Tsar Gorokha. The atmosphere is completely unsuitable for a pleasant pastime. The service is just a disaster! The waiters seem to be competing to see who can ignore the customers longer. We waited for the order for almost an hour, even though there were only a few people in the room. When the waiter finally came over, he was so distracted that he mixed up our orders and brought us something completely different from what we asked for. And when they pointed out the mistake, he reacted with such displeasure, as if we were to blame for his carelessness. Let's move on to the kitchen. Food is just a crime against gastronomy! I ordered a medium-rare steak, and they brought me a piece of rubber that looked like it had been thawed and frozen five times. The salad turned out to be so tasteless that it's not even clear what it's made of. And coffee is generally a separate story: water with some kind of chemical taste, which, apparently, was brewed a week ago. Hygiene in the establishment leaves much to be desired. I've personally seen a cook sneeze right over the stove without covering his mouth. The dishes were washed somehow - there were traces of previous dishes on the plates. The situation in the toilet is no better — dirty and unkempt. The prices here are simply cosmic for such quality! I paid for a decent restaurant, but I got the level of a roadhouse. Seriously, guys, where's the logic? In general, Zhemchuzhina is not a cafe, but a real disappointment. I don't advise anyone to waste time and money here. It is better to pass by and find a place where they respect their customers and take care of the quality of service. Evaluation: 1 out of 10. And then only for the fact that the toilet was open (although it was no better there than in the rest of the institution). P.S. Friends, take care of your nerves and wallets — avoid this place!
