I want to tell you about an extremely unpleasant situation that occurred in this coffee shop. I know for sure that I left my new Uniqlo tank top at the establishment, worth about 45,000 tenge. Why are you sure? Because I left before my sister, and as she was leaving, she saw a tank top and thought, "Oh, it's the same as my sister's." But I didn't realize it was mine, so I just left it, thinking it wasn't ours. Later, when I realized that I had forgotten my tank top, I immediately called the coffee shop and explained the situation. The manager calmly confirmed that the tank top had been found and put away, and said, "Yes, come and ask the manager when it's convenient." A week after I returned to the country, I went to a coffee shop in the evening to pick up a thing. The manager looked at it and said he hadn't found it. He promised to look at the cameras and contact me. Silence passed. No one contacted me. For three days, I called myself, trying to figure out what was wrong with my tank top. It wasn't until the fourth day that the manager finally contacted me and stated that the coffee shop was not responsible for the forgotten items. Although it's not just a forgotten item, it's an item that they found, removed, and confirmed to be there. According to the law, if an institution accepts a found item and puts it away for storage, it is directly responsible for its safety. In this case, the coffee shop accepted the item and simply lost it or let someone take it away, and now it's trying to evade responsibility. It's a shame that an establishment that seemed pleasant turned out to have such an approach to its guests. No apologies, no compensation, no normal reaction. I will contact the appropriate authorities, and I do not advise you to leave your personal belongings in this place, even for 5 minutes. The probability that they will not be "found" is very high.
