The art object is a mock-up of an L-series steam locomotive, installed on December 27, 2022, on the day of the 160th anniversary of the Belarusian Railway on Lenin Square. On December 27, 1862, regular traffic was opened along the St. Petersburg-Warsaw Railway. Its Grodno-Porechye section became the first railway line laid on Belarusian soil. This date became the birthday of the Belarusian Railway. The L-series steam locomotive, designed by Lebedev and operated from 1945 to 1955, was one of the best and most massive Soviet steam locomotives. Its layout was made by employees of the Luninets locomotive depot Andrey Mikhnyuk and Dmitry Antonovich.
