A cool park in the center of a bustling big city. The park is huge, with lots of walking and running tracks, benches, gazebos, recreation areas, and exercise equipment. Beautiful alleys with views of skyscrapers, fountains with music, there are duckling catamarans where you can ride for free for the first 30 minutes, but the weight limit is up to 80kg (even scales stand and weigh people whom the workers doubt))) .And the main feature of this park is the monitor lizards..lots of monitor lizards...different sizes)).Monitor lizards are everywhere out there)) on palm trees, in the water, on the shore, on the grass ) .There are also turtles who enjoyed eating a banana with us).In general, the park is cool, which has a lot of shady places from big trees and you can walk there for several hours and have fun.

Lumphini Park is a huge park and one of the main green areas of Bangkok, ideal for relaxing and walking, with an area of about 57 hectares. Spacious alleys for walking, running and cycling. There is a large lake where you can rent boats and feed the birds. A variety of tropical plants and trees, creating pleasant shade and fresh air. Sports areas .

We were lucky enough to live not very far away (about a 30-minute walk) from this park. And it's always so cool to live in a city, but to be able to get into another world in the very center of it - calm, green, peaceful. The park is famous for monitor lizards. There really are a lot of them here. Some are very well-fed, strutting through the grass, causing alarm among the bird neighbors. There is a lake in the park and you can ride catamarans and boats here. Unfortunately, we arrived too early and the rental station was closed... But there are catamarans and boats here -) The park overlooks Bangkok's skyscrapers, which reminded me of Central Park in New York. Although the park here is almost flat (and in New York there are small ascents and descents, and from one of them - from a stone cliff - there is a wonderful view of the city). There were large figures of anime characters standing a little way off. I don't know, though, if they're standing here all the time or if there was some kind of event. But still - it looked beautiful -) Finally, you can have a snack here - there is a fairly large market where you can buy fruits and snacks. It seems to me that there are also enough seats (if the park is not crowded). A pleasant place in the center of Bangkok. Probably not the most popular, not the most touristy, but to "disconnect" from the bustling city for an hour or two is almost ideal.
