To get to the Acropolis and see the Parthenon, you need to purchase a ticket for 30 euros, take water with you and do not forget to wear a hat in sunny weather, because even on the hottest day, the sun is sizzling there. The place is amazing! Despite the fact that part of the Parthenon is in the woods, and judging by the sounds, restoration work is actively underway there. You need to see it with your own eyes at least once in your life.

Climbing the ancient trail is already part of the adventure, immersing in history. However, at the top you will have an ambivalent impression. Even in ruins, it is a colossal and perfect structure, the spirit of which is felt physically. The realization that you are standing in the epicenter of world civilization covers everything. The panoramic views of Athens are truly breathtaking. Huge crowds of tourists (thousands per day) can turn a visit into a crush and make it difficult to concentrate. Everything is really fenced off and viewed only from afar, which creates a sense of annoyance and detachment. A must-visit, but with clear expectations. This is not a solitary touch to antiquity, but a mass pilgrimage tour to the icon. Appreciate the very fact of your presence and the overall energy of the place.
