A vacation you want to forget!!! It is necessary to attract tourists who are still wondering whether it is worth suffering in this "hotel". The hotel is worn out, repairs have not been done for years, everything is old and broken. An extra charge is required for any services - even for those that are standard in other areas. Parking, sun loungers, a swimming pool - everything is paid. It seems that they are trying to squeeze out the last money, without giving anything in return. There is dirt around, dried-out lawns, bushes and trees, it is a pity that they ruined such a once green area. Unfortunately, the "vacation" in the Marco Polo hotel left an extremely unpleasant impression, out of the 12 days we paid for, we suffered only seven and our patience snapped, we left, by the way, we never got our money back, even partially. The manufacturer has long lost interest in the quality of service. The owner, Pavel Desyatnikov, deserves special recognition, the management methods raise questions. They probably forgot that "the fish rots from the head down." He considers himself God and the arbiter of the bob. They don't value the vacationers, who pay him a lot of money for a second. Imagine that we humiliated people, we were witnesses passing by his house along the alley, the windows were open, and he shouted at the guests who came to us, complained and asked to return their money for important vacation days, by the way, they never returned either. Mostly young people work there, often minors, and it seems that the conditions are far from normal. The atmosphere for the staff is more reminiscent of a labor camp than a boarding house - there is no culture, no decent pay. The kitchen is a separate pain. The dishes are tasteless, the cooks, apparently, are inexperienced. The meat served was of dubious quality - either a beef head, or entrails, or something else. Lots of oil floating everywhere, almost no meat, everything is constantly cold and you have to wait an hour. Scrambled eggs for breakfast are a luxury, which the waiters themselves cook. All the portions are very small, asking for more is useless, they will not give you. They react aggressively to requests and complaints. The administration is intimidated by the owner, they apologize and cannot offer anything in return. The maids are completely young and inexperienced, during the entire time they have never offered to clean or change linen, although they try, it is obvious that they simply do not have time, because there are few of them, not enough staff. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone who values their health, nerves and money. We will also never go back there again, which we advise you to do.

In short, Marko Polo is a failure. The entrance is the last ~5 km — a dusty primer with pits. The territory is boring: one alley and branches to the houses; further from the center, the plants dry and get sick. The pier from the advertisement is actually abandoned, there are no stairs — to jump, go around from the shore. There are few people on weekdays, but on weekends the beach in front of the resort is occupied by locals (although there are good empty beaches on the left and right within a kilometer): loud music, trash, tipsy looking for adventure. I personally saw my grandfather get into the water, blow his nose and "brush his teeth" with his finger, spitting into the lake. Yes, the shore is shared, but with such "neighbors" the rest is dying. The room stock is dead: repairs are "for show", the furniture is dirty and battered, curtains/tulle are dirty, torn in places and with broken hinges; dirt and cobwebs are in the corners and behind the furniture, mosquito nets on the balcony are torn. The corridors are shabby, the plaster is crumbling. There is a clock in the room, but it does not work, which is symbolic. The dining room is unsafe: the glass at our table is chipped off, they haven't replaced it for all the accommodation — you sit and think how not to catch a vein on the edge. Food — "you can eat," but it doesn't taste good. The staff is indifferent: they gave me the keys and I'm free; when asked, "I'm new here /replacing," the maid generally said that they themselves go to eat outside the territory. The main thing is the mice in the room. The first night they saw her, the next day I caught her and gave her to the reception. The reaction was zero: no apologies, no offer to relocate. My wife and children did not sleep at night. We left after the second night and never set foot here again. Bottom line: the place cannot be fixed — let it die, and something normal will appear in its place someday. I don't recommend it.

We have been to this hotel more than 5 times. It gets worse and worse every year. The rooms are in need of renovation, and have been for a long time. Everything is crumbling, falling off, the plumbing is rusty, the water in the faucet is rotten, everything is covered in cobwebs. The cleaning is so-so. Well, sad😞 But the territory is excellent, oddly enough, they are watching. Of course we're going to the seaside, not to sit in the room, but still! If this continues, you will lose all customers. But it's a good place! And you don't have to eat one meal at a time, either it's delicious or it's a mess. The hotel requires investments, and the owner doesn't seem to care. I really love the south coast, peace and quiet. We hope for the best!
