I want to share my opinion about a family vacation. Maybe someone will help with the choice of a hotel. We have just returned from an amazing vacation in Abkhazia, where we had a rest with my wife in Gagra, from May 18 to 27 at the Malibu hotel, and I can't help but share my impressions! 😊 , Reception and service From the very moment of arrival, we were greeted very friendly and courteous. The hotel staff was attentive to our every request and always ready to help. 🛌 Room The room was clean and cozy, with a wonderful view of the sea. We appreciated that it had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. And even more.😁 🍽️ Food There is not much variety of dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner. But I was pleased! There were delicious dishes on the menu that we were used to. If you don't find fault too much, it's still not a Michelin restaurant. Without restrictions, eat whatever you want and as much as you want. The hotel also has a lobby bar where beer, wine, chacha are poured for free, bottled drinking water is provided, and many other goodies to go with it all, as well as ice cream, cookies, pies, yoghurts and sweet soda for children. 🏊♂️ Pool A clean and heated swimming pool has become a real salvation in the not very good and hot weather in May. We spent a lot of time there, enjoying our vacation. 😊 The staff Special thanks to the wonderful staff — polite and smiling! They created a warm atmosphere and we felt at home. In general, we were satisfied with our stay and will definitely return to the Malibu hotel! I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax comfortably and enjoy good service! No extra bells and whistles.

Thank you very much! Everything that has been stated is consistent. Fresh bed linen, towels (changed every three days), a buffet, of course, without variety, almost always the same, but there is something to choose from: different porridges, omelets, casseroles, cottage cheese, kefir, soups, different side dishes, meat and fish, and even dumplings, vegetables and the greens are always fresh. The pool was warm, everything was in the lobby bar, wine, beer, chacha, drinks, ice cream, yoghurts, fruits, desserts. You can list a lot, the administrators are just "darlings", any questions that arose were quickly resolved, we were satisfied with the rest!

I want to leave an honest review and warn most people. We had a rest from 12/31/2025 to 01/8/2026 The hotel is new, very beautiful both inside and out. There is a so-called "Lobby bar" on the ground floor. There are many places where you can sit, but from the bar there is only a refrigerator with drinks (wine, cognac, beer) and ready-made food (sandwiches, sandwiches), and a price list is hanging. There is also a small children's corner on the ground floor, where there are pencils, markers, uno for children, jenga and children's darts (instead of darts, Velcro balls). There was no animation at all. We had two rooms, one with a sea view (3rd floor), the other with a mountain view (6th floor). The rooms are spacious, new and very nice. However, it was very cold inside. There was a heater and that was it. The air conditioner was not working in the room on the 3rd floor (we asked the reception, the problem was not solved), it was working on the 6th floor (apparently due to the fact that there is a dining room on this floor), we immediately set 30 ° to somehow warm up. There is no heating in the bathroom at all, cold floors, in general, are not very pleasant. When it started to get warmer outside, the room got better. I also want to pay special attention to the lack of water. When we arrived, she wasn't there at all. We couldn't even wash our hands. They asked at the reception, they say there will be water in 30 minutes, but they did not give it. A couple of days later, we realized that there was water after 9, it was given for several hours. She appeared and did not appear during the day. She didn't show up at all in the evening, only after 22:30. Initially, it was rusty and icy, then the situation improved a little (instead of red, slightly yellow water flowed). The situation improved closer to January 6 (apparently, people started working). The room has a mini-bar (paid, of course). I can praise the cleaners. The rooms were clean, bed linen and towels were changed, new jars of shampoo, shower gel and conditioner were put in every day, dirty cups and plates were washed, tea bags, coffee and sugar were always replenished. The dining room is on the 6th floor. We only had breakfast. The food selection is sparse. There was always over-salted buckwheat or rice, unleavened pasta in butter, dumplings with potatoes and fried onions, sausages (boiled or fried), oatmeal in water, pancakes with cottage cheese (by the end they were already without cottage cheese), cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, tangerines, lettuce (olivier or vinaigrette), and butter, ketchup, mayonnaise, condensed milk. There was also milk and compote. The boiling water was red, because the water was rusty from the tap, and I didn't want to drink tea (packaged) and coffee (instant powder) at all. There was also black and white bread, which were always hard and savory. In general, I only liked the sausages. There is parking on site, but if you want to go somewhere, you need to open and lock the gate yourself. There is also a "heated" swimming pool. Upon arrival, he was dirty and cold. We approached the reception, asked if it was possible to swim at all and when, to which they replied: "in two hours they will wash it, warm it up and you can." Naturally, the pool became clean only after three days. We only went swimming 2 times when it was warm outside. The water is not icy, but it is not hot either. In general, I give two stars only for the modern and beautiful view of the hotel, and for cleaning the room. I don't recommend a hotel.
