The resting place of Homelites is one of the largest necropolises in Gomel. The Osovtsy cemetery was opened for burials in the early 1970s, although the first Jewish burials date back to 1940. There is also a mass grave of soldiers and civilian victims of the Second World War, soldiers of the Afghan war, as well as criminal authorities of the 90s.
