Probably, along with the monument to Duke, one of the most recognizable and visited places in Odessa. The beautiful architecture, the chic atmosphere, the large hall, the majestic chandelier - it's all very cool. I had a chance to see the wonderful operas of Giselle, the Barber of Seville, Turandot there. We watched the classic Swan Lake from the ballet. I liked everything very much, except for the cosmic prices in the buffet and the temperature of the hall in winter (it was pretty cool).

I was at the Odessa Opera House in 1964. It was only opened after the restoration. The theater is gorgeous! The design and interior are at a very high level. You could just walk around and admire. I listened to Donizetti's opera Lucia di Lamermoor. My classmate Nelya Tkachenko sang Lucia well.
